    • A quadratic box formed of six panels, one of which is hinged to function as a lid. A removable plastic bag for containing liquid is encased within the box. A large portion of each of the panels is of open lattice construction with strengthening ribs. Sections of solid construction are provided at some points to enable the box to withstand the pressure of the liquid contained in the encased bag. The hinges attaching the lid each comprise a shaft carried by one panel seated in a recess formed in another panel, the shaft being held in place in the groove by a removable metal spring clip that closes the top of the recess. One of the end panels contains an opening through which a liquid dispensing tube can be extended, and this end panel is sloped toward the opening to allow complete drainage of liquid.

    • A box-shaped container has at its upper end an outwardly extending horizontal flange provided on one longitudinal side with at least two slots so as to form two hinge pins of substantial square cross section between each slot and the outer edge of the flange. The cover is provided along its longitudinal edge with two pairs of flaps, each pair comprising two oppositely disposed flap members which are curved toward each other and form a fork which partially embraces a hinge pin. A curved leaf spring extends along the outer surfaces of said flap members and is attached thereto with its inwardly bent ends which enter into slots in said flap members or engage shoulders on said flap members. The opposite longitudinal sides of the cover and box are locked together by a latch member which extends downwardly from a flange on the cover and lockingly engage the horizontal flange on the upper edge of the box.

    • A panel hinge is provided for connecting a panel to a car body of a motor vehicle in an articulated fashion, which includes, but is not limited to a first hinge part for being mounted on the car body, a second hinge part for being mounted on the panel, a pivot bearing element that is connected to the first hinge part and about which the second hinge part can be pivoted. The second hinge part can be axially displaced, a clamping element that is rotatable about the pivot bearing element and can be clamped to the pivot bearing element. An axial position of the second hinge part can be fixed with the clamping element, and a first engaging element that is realized on one component, namely on the clamping element or the second hinge part, and engaged with a second engaging element that is realized on the other respective component in such a way that the clamping element is connected to the second hinge part in a rotationally rigid fashion. At least one of the two engaging elements is realized such that it is plastically deformed by the initial pivoting of the second hinge part in such a way that it is disengaged from the other engaging element.

    • A self-fastening window attachment clip is disposed within a cursor attached to a window lift mechanism. The clip includes a locking portion engaged with an attachment member secured to a window and received within a slot of the cursor. The clip includes a locking portion and a biasing portion that secures the attachment member within the cursor. The clip is disposed within the cursor and orientated such that insertion of the attachment member flexes the locking portion out or the slot. With the attachment member in contact with the biasing portion, the locking portion is free to spring back across the slot and engage a top portion of the attachment member. The locking portion engages the attachment member and prevents removal of the attachment member from the slot of the cursor.

    • A clip is disclosed for mounting a flush plate such as a mounting tray or the like within a corresponding opening in an extruded frame member such as a transom bar, door frame, or the like. The clip includes a pair of tongue members held together in spaced apart relation by an interconnecting bridge member. The tongue members are inserted into corresponding channels defined in the extruded frame member adjacent the opening, and when the clip is thus mounted to the frame member, a portion of the clip extends into the opening. In the disclosed embodiment, the bridge member is located to abut the end of the extruded frame member to limit the depth to which the clip is inserted into the channels. With the clips thus mounted, the flush plate is fastened to the clips to secure the flush plate to the extruded frame member. The clip is less expensive to produce than two corresponding single tongued clips and requires only one installation step rather than two. Further, the clip prevents the possibility of it being overdriven into the extruded frame member and reduces or eliminates the possibility of the clip being bent or twisted during installation. The clip also increases the accuracy of alignment of bores in the clip with corresponding apertures in the flush plate.
