摘要： The subject of the present invention is a process for the production of closures, in which process a sealing composition is applied and baked on the inside of the closures, wherein a sealing composition is applied which containsA) 20 to 95% by weight of at least one compound having on average more than two isocyanate groups per molecule and/or of a diisocyanate prepolymer, the isocyanate groups being blocked,B) 1.5 to 30% by weight of at least one diamine and/or polyamine,C) 0 to 78.5% by weight of at least one plastic and/or elastic and/or reactive organic polymer,D) 0 to 60% by weight of pigments and/or fillers,E) 0 to 50% by weight of one or more reactive diluents andF) 0 to 20% by weight of auxiliaries and additives, the sum of the proportions by weight of the components A to F being 100% in each case.The present invention also relates to the closures produced by the process according to the invention and to packaging containers which contain said closures.

A seal of the material retains strength before and after exposure to fire and provides superior resistance to the impact, erosion, and cooling effects of a hose stream used to combat a fire. The composition of this compressible, fireproof material consists of elastomers, vulcanizing agents, fillers, softening agents, and an intumescent. This fireproof material may be in cellular or noncellular form with various degrees of compressibility and softness. It can be produced in sheets, molded parts, and continuous length strips. It may be vulcanized or nonvulcanized.

摘要： A high temperature compressed non-asbestos sheet is provided which is effective for gasketing applications in temperatures up to at least 900.degree. F. The sheet is formed from carbon fibers having a high percentage of carbonization and a low modulus of elasticity. The carbon content of the fibers is above 90% while the modulus of elasticity is less than 10,000,000 psi., and such fibers form at least 75% of the fiber content of the sheet. The carbon fibers may be blended with small portions of organic fibers to enhance the physical properties of the sheet.

摘要： An extruded seal material which is stable in phosphoric acid is composed of fibrillating polytetrafluoroethylene, a halogenated oil, and a filler. Preferably the oil is a fluorocarbon oil and the filler is either non-fibrillating polytetrafluoroethylene, silicon carbide or graphite, all of which are stable in phosphoric acid at temperatures up to at least 400.degree. F. This seal material is particularly suited for use in the environment of a phosphoric acid fuel cell.

摘要： An EPDM composition which contains, as a crosslinking agent, an organic peroxide in an amount of 0.2 to 4.0 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of EPDM having an ethylene content of 50 to 58% by weight and a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4) (at 100°C) of 10 to 48. The EPDM composition shows an excellent blistering resistance under co-presence of flon gas/refrigerating machine oil which is a matter of concern in practical use as a rubbery material for molding a sealing material for a flon-type cooling medium (e.g., R134a), and also shows an excellent molding property. A sealing material produced by vulcanization-molding the EPDM composition, when used for sealing of a flon-type cooling medium, shows a smaller amount of permeation/leak of the cooling medium compared to that in a sealing material comprising hydrogenated NBR which has been used as a shaft seal for a compressor provided in an automotive air-conditioning system.
