    • An apparatus, machine and method for continuous unloading and loading of an object includes an unloading station with in-feed device, frame and transport device disposed thereon that moves an object between a unload end and a load end of the in-feed device. A robotic transfer means is positioned at the unload end of the in-feed device. The robotic transfer device includes a base portion, an arm attached to the base portion and a gripping member located on a distal end of the arm. An object storage device is positioned adjacent the unload end of the in-feed device for holding a plurality of objects arranged in a predetermined manner. The robotic transfer device operatively unloads the object from the storage device and places the object on the unload end of the transport device, which transport the object to the load end of the in-feed device for loading onto another device.

    • Individual separated pouches are supplied to the inlet station of an endless continuously-moving carrier provided with adjustable pouch-supporting mechanisms at uniform intervals therealong. Each mechanism supports the pouch adjacent the opposite upper corners thereof. The pouch is moved past an opening station which fully opens the pouch mouth. The pouches are continuously moved through a filling station having plural material-guiding funnels which are rotatably supported and move at the same speed as the pouches when positioned thereover. A control mechanism, synchronized with the pouch carrier, lowers opposed spring-urged fingers into the pouch mouth to center same under the funnel and securely hold same open. Thereafter the guide funnel is lowered into the open mouth and material is deposited through the funnel into the pouch. The funnel and fingers are then raised out of the pouch. The pouch and its supporting mechanism then passes into a tensioning station which stretches the pouch mouth and also effects heating thereof. The filled pouch then passes through a sealing station which heat seals the pouch mouth, whereupon the support mechanism releases the pouch.

    • Apparatus for transferring substantially conical subjects of an elastic material, such as truncated caps for bottles of a plastic material from a supply container into a store holder in a predetermined position comprising a horizontal shaft mounted to said apparatus, a plurality of parallel rotatable discs mounted on said shaft and positioned at a distance from each other greater than the larger diameter of the conical subjects. The inner walls of the discs are provided with means to temporarily hold the conical subjects near their larger diameter. The rotatable discs are able to rotate simultaneously with such a velocity that the conical subjects held thereby are positioned by centrifugal forces with their smaller diameter directed outward. Means are also provided for continuously removing the positioned conical subjects and for moving the conical subjects to the store holder.
