    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens detaching device effectively detaching a lens material without damaging the lens material.
      SOLUTION: The lens detaching device is equipped with: a support portion 12B supporting a part of an outer peripheral part of the lens material L; and a separation mechanism 13 separating the lens material L from a block fixture 1 by starting a separation between the lens material L and the block fixture 1 at places other than the support portion 12B. The separation mechanism 13 is provided with: a lens engagement portion 12A provided to a plate member 111 and engaging the outer peripheral part of the lens material L; a fixture lock portion 14 that locks the block fixture 1; and a motion mechanism 15 relatively moving the fixture lock portion 14 and the lens engagement portion 12A. The motion mechanism 15 is equipped with a cylinder device 16 having a piston 161 engaged to the fixture lock portion 14.
