    • The invention relates to an antifriction bearing for a shaft, cylinder or roller (2), especially for shafts, cylinders or rollers (2) of a rolling mill, in which metal strips are rolled, provided with a lubricant supply (9), which supplies a flowable lubricant to the antifriction bearing (3), and provided with at least one contactless labyrinth seal (13, 14) for sealing the antifriction bearing (3). The inventive antifriction bearing ensures a proper sealing of the bearing also when using contactless sealing labyrinth seals. To this end, the lubricant supply (9) supplies the lubricant according to the rotational speed of the shaft, cylinder or roller (2). The invention also relates to a method for lubricating an antifriction bearing, which is sealed by means of a labyrinth seal, using a lubricant stream and which prevents lubricant from escaping out of the seal.

    • The invention relates to a device comprising at least one bearing that is connected to a lubricant supply by means of a distribution device (1) arranged on a bore hole (2) of a machine housing (3) and which distributes lubricant through different lubricating ducts (13) in the machine housing (3). The lubricant flows through the distribution device (1) in the form of a lubricant-air flux, said distribution device consisting of a plurality of cylindrical-shaped cylinder elements (4, 5) inserted axially into the bore hole (2), i.e. a distributor (4) allocated to the bearing and spacer blocks (5), and having a through hole for the lubricant-air flux. A device having such a configuration makes it possible to monitor the bearings using simple means. According to the invention, this is achieved in that at least one of the cylinder elements (4, 5) of the distribution device (1) comprises a sensor (15, 16, 17) designed to detect the operational state of one of the bearings and in that the connecting lines (18, 19) of the sensor (15, 16, 17) are guided through a passage traversing the cylinder elements (4, 5).
