    • An airbrush cleaning system is disclosed which includes a nose cap configured to sealingly fit on a spray nose assembly of an airbrush, a reservoir cap configured to sealingly fit over a liquid reservoir of the airbrush, a first tether connecting the bulb nose cap and the reservoir cap, a cap plug configured to seal off an air inlet port of the airbrush, a lever block configured to hold an airbrush needle valve in the open position, and a second tether connecting the cap plug and the lever block. A kit including the cleaning system and the airbrush and a method for using the cleaning system are also disclosed.

    • An ink jet is disclosed that may be placed in a bell plate of a rotary atomizer and, when thus placed, forms an annular gap between the ink jet and a distribution disc recess of the bell plate. An exemplary illustration has a common rinsing agent channel running in the ink jet for conducting a rinsing agent for rinsing the bell plate, a first rinsing agent outlet that is supplied with rinsing agent by the common rinsing agent channel and directed forward in a substantially axial direction toward a distribution disc of the bell plate, and a second rinsing agent outlet that is supplied with rinsing agent by the common rinsing agent channel. In the installed state, an exemplary second rinsing agent outlet may empty into the annular gap between the distribution disc recess and the ink jet in order to clean the annular gap with the rising agent.

    • An edge bead removal system and method is provided that employs a nozzle for applying edge bead removal solvent to an edge bead of a photoresist material layer disposed on a wafer. The nozzle includes a liquid chamber that can be connected to a supply of edge bead removal and an air supply chamber that can be connected to a supply of air. The supply of air is isolated from the liquid supply chamber during application of the edge bead removal solvent and communicates via the air supply chamber to the liquid supply chamber after application of the edge bead removal solvent thus removing any droplets of edge bead removal solvent remaining in the nozzle tip. A system is also provided that includes an absorbent material that moves from a rest position, during application of the edge bead removal solvent, to an absorbing position that removes or catches any droplets of edge bead removal solvent remaining on the nozzle tip after application of the edge bead removal solvent is completed. A nozzle is also provided that includes a liquid supply chamber with an inner cylindrical surface that is made of or coated with either a hydrophobic material and/or a hydrophilic material.
