    • Apparatuses and systems including an instrument for manipulating components within a knee joint of a patient are disclosed. Such manipulation can include inserting and/or removing such components to or from a bone of the knee joint. The instrument can include a handle (12), a body (14), a plunger (36), a detent (18) and a collar (16). The handle can have a proximal end (22) and a distal end (24) and a longitudinal extent between the proximal end and the distal end. The body can be coupled to the handle and can extend distal of the distal end. The body can define a receptacle (20) therein having an opening (26) at a distal end portion (28) of the instrument. The plunger can be moveably disposed within the body and can be moveable between a first position and a second position. The detent can be moveable by the plunger, such that with the plunger in the first position at least a portion of the detent can extend into the receptacle and with the plunger in the second position the detent can be recessed from the receptacle. The collar can be disposed about at least a portion of the body and can be moveable relative to the body to operatively actuate the plunger from the first position to the second position.

    • Various systems, devices, and methods for facilitating efficient anatomical registration in surgical navigation are disclosed. Such systems and devices can have a data collection unit and a scaling device. The scaling device has a main body having an anatomical registration feature defined therein and at least one scaling marker pathway that is selectively oriented with respect to the anatomical registration feature to facilitate repeatable gross placement of a scaling marker relative to a selected anatomical feature. The scaling marker is selectively displaceable along a scaling marker pathway about and between a first end and a second end thereof to fine-tune scaling marker placement prior to image capture.

    • Methods, systems and apparatuses are disclosed including apparatuses that can be used in a total knee replacement procedure. According to one example, a tibial implant (210) is disclosed. The tibial implant can be configured for attachment to a tibia in a knee arthroplasty and can include a baseplate (212) having a lateral portion (228) and a medial portion (226) oriented relative to an anteroposterior axis and a fixation member (214). Each of the lateral portion and the medial portion can have a distal surface configured to interface with a resected proximal surface of a tibia. The fixation member can be coupled to and extend both distally and medially from the baseplate such that the fixation member is oriented at an acute angle relative to the distal surface of the medial portion.

    • External fixation systems, and methods for immobilizing joints or fractured bones. An external fixation system may include one or more clamp assemblies connected to one or more rod assemblies at polyaxial joints. Each rod assembly may be length adjustable, and may include a one-way locking mechanism to provisionally lock the length of the rod assembly, and additional locking mechanisms to permanently lock the length of the rod assembly. The system may be deployed pre-assembled as a unit to immobilize a joint or fracture. Another external fixation system further includes a spanning member extending transverse to the rod assemblies. Two or more external fixation systems may be deployed in a stacked configuration on one set of bone pins to immobilize two joints and/or fractures. The systems may be provided in kits including guiding instrumentation, bone pins and pin clamping assemblies for connecting the bone pins to the external fixation systems.
