摘要： In a preliminary molding step 1, a metallic powder mixture 7 obtained by blending an iron-based metal powder 7a with graphite 7b such that the graphite is present in an amount of preferably not less than 0.1% by weight, more preferably not less than 0.3% by weight, is compacted into a preform 8 having a density of not less than 7.3g/cm 3 . In a provisional sintering step 2, the preform 8 is provisionally sintered at a predetermined temperature to form a metallic powder-molded body 9 having a structure in which the graphite remains along a grain boundary of the metal powder. In a re-compaction step 3, the metallic powder-molded body 9 is re-compacted into a re-compacted body 10. In a re-sintering step 4, the re-compacted body 10 is re-sintered to obtain a sintered body 11. In a heat treatment step 5, the sintered body 11 is heat-treated to obtain a heat-treated sintered body 11.
Accordingly, in accordance with the present invention, there are provided a re-compacted body produced from a metallic powder-molded body having an excellent deformability which is suitably applied to the production of machine parts exhibiting high mechanical properties due to the use of sintered metal, and a sintered body produced from the re-compacted body as well as a process for the production thereof.

A valve pin adjuster (44), responsive to change in pressure acting on the valve pin within the container, shifts the valve pin between a first position where fluid communication between the main passage and the upstream portion of the fluid path is blocked to prevent the pressurized fluid from being discharged from the container, and a second position where fluid communication between the upstream and downstream portions of the fluid path is established through the bypass passage to allow the flow of the pressurized fluid from the container.

摘要： In apparatus and method for controlling damping force characteristics for four vehicular shock absorbers, when a vehicular braking condition occurs, a corrective control signal component of a control signal V is generated and provided for each shock absorber in order to enable a shortening of a braking distance of the vehicle improving a vehicular braking performance. The corrective control signal component is generated on the basis of at least plus-to-minus inverted values of slip rates of respective road wheels, the slip rates W being derived according to subtractions of corresponding road wheel speeds W V (W VFR , W VFL , W VRS ) from a vehicle body speed. A basic control signal component of the control signal is generated and provided on the basis of sprung mass vertical velocity signals.
