    • Method for laying at least one optical fiber on a composite material layer, in a selected configuration, the method including the procedures of attaching an adhesive sheet adhesive side of a single side adhesive sheet, to a non adhesive sheet, the non adhesive sheet having a plurality of openings, placing the optical fiber, on the non adhesive sheet along at least one path, to form an optical fiber network, the path intersecting some of the openings, applying pressure to the optical fiber, at at least some of the openings, to adhere the optical fiber to the adhesive sheet adhesive side, placing the optical fiber network on a composite layer adhesive side of the composite material layer, with the single side adhesive sheet, and the non adhesive sheet attached to the optical fiber network, separating the single side adhesive sheet from the non adhesive sheet, while ensuring that the non adhesive sheet is secured to the optical fiber network, and to the composite material layer, and separating the non adhesive sheet from the composite material layer, to leave the optical fiber attached to the composite layer adhesive side.
