The exchanger comprises an absorber solution section operably connected to the system's absorber/dehumidification section and a desorber solution section operably connected to the system's desorber/regeneration section. A partition separating those sections includes at least two interconnecting ports positioned to facilitate flow of relatively weak solution from the absorber solution section into the desorber solution section; and the flow of relatively strong solution from the desorber solution section into the absorber solution section - as well as allowing heat transfer therebetween.

摘要： The present invention provides colloidally stable dispersions of nanoparticles comprising beta-lactoglobulin and a polysaccharide which are transparent when diluted in aqueous media. In particular these colloidally stable dispersions of nanoparticles are useful as delivery vehicles of hydrophobic nutraceuticals and fat-soluble vitamins, for enrichment of food products, especially of transparent beverages and other non-fat or low fat foods and drinks. The present invention further provides methods for the preparation of said colloidally stable dispersions.

摘要： The invention relates to a composition for the enrichment of food and/or beverage and to a method of preparing such composition. The composition comprises additive loaded beta-casein micelles which are of a diameter of about 100nm or less. These nano-sized beta-casein assemblies are formed at pH values which are preferably one or more pH units above or below the pI of the protein (pI=5.3). More preferably the beta-casein nano-assemblies are formed at a pH range between about 6.0 and about 8, or between about 2.0 and about 4.2. The invention provides vehicles for delivery of additives via transparent beverages and other foods and drinks and/or acidic foods and drinks and/or non fat foods and drinks.

摘要： An organic electroluminescent device comprising a composite material, and a method for manufacturing organic electroluminescent devices. The material comprises at least two emissive polymers confined into a layered inorganic host matrix, which effectively isolates the polymer chains from their neighbors. Isolation of the emitting chains inhibits energy transfer and exciton diffusion between polymer chains, such that the electrically generated excitons recombine radiativeley before their energy could be funneled to the emissive moiety with the lowest band gap. The emission color of such a composite is a combination of the emission of the confined polymers, and can be either white light, or can be tuned by selection of the ratio of the mixtures to output light of any desired color. The different polymers can either be mixed and then intercalated into the host matrix, or they can each be intercalated separately into the host matrix and the resulting composites mixed.
