    • A feedback control module for stabilizing a carrier-envelope phase of an output of a laser oscillator system comprises a first photodetector, a second photodetector, a phase stabilizer, an optical modulator, and a thermal control element. The first photodetector may generate a first feedback signal corresponding to a first portion of a laser beam from an oscillator. The second photodetector may generate a second feedback signal corresponding to a second portion of the laser beam filtered by a low-pass filter. The phase stabilizer may divide the frequency of the first feedback signal by a factor and generate an error signal corresponding to the difference between the frequency-divided first feedback signal and the second feedback signal. The optical modulator may modulate the laser beam within the oscillator corresponding to the error signal. The thermal control unit may change the temperature of the oscillator corresponding to a signal operable to control the optical modulator.

    • The present disclosure relates to a gateway, base station and method for window-based content synchronization technology. The gateway according the present invention comprises; a receiving unit for receiving a data packet; a window counting unit for counting the data packet, such that a predetermined number of packets forms a window, the number being a window size; a sequence number counting unit for generating a sequence number of the packet; a timestamp setting unit for setting a timestamp for the packet; and a processing unit for including the generated sequence number, the timestamp and a byte count in the packet to be transmitted. The base station according to the present invention comprises: a receiving unit for receiving a data packet; an information extracting unit for extracting a sequence number, a timestamp and byte count information from the data packet; a window counting unit for counting the received packets based on the extracted sequence number so as to form a window; and a processing unit for setting an anticipated air interface transmission time for the packets in the current window based on the extracted timestamp. The gateway or base station according to the present invention operates well with statistical multiplexing and has an improved overall performance in terms of synchronization processing delay and control packets load.

    • Disclosed is a method and apparatus for generating a PDU and a base station thereof. The method for generating a PDU includes: segmenting an input SDU into at least one segmentation in such a manner that the at least one segmentation is distributed in at least one PDU; and setting an offset field and at least one length indicator field in a header of each PDU, wherein the offset field indicates an offset of a first segmentation of a first new SDU appearing in the PDU, and the length indicator field indicates the end of the new SDU or the segmentation of the new to SDU in the PDU. With the present invention, since a single SDU is indicated only using one LI even if it is segmented into a plurality of segmentations, and the LI indicates the end of SDU in one PDU, it is ensured that an eNB in the SFN can recover packets in case of multiple packets loss while avoiding de-synchronization during the contents transmission.

    • The present invention discloses a comprehensive dynamic management scheme of HS-DSCH channel codes, which comprises the steps of: determining a remainder HS-DSCH channel resource of a system when a new HS-DSCH bearer service request is received; calculating a required HS-DSCH channel resource for the new service request; comparing the current system remainder HS-DSCH channel resource with the required HS-DSCH channel resource for the new service request; determining whether there is a need to add new HS-DSCH channel codes based on comparison results, assigning new codes or switching the service request into DCH channel for data transmission in accordance with the actual usage of the current code tree; when the existing HS-DSCH bearer service is completed, calculating a current system HS-DSCH channel resource usage ratio and hysteresis then comparing it with a predefined threshold, and determining whether there is a need to withdraw channel codes based on the results of comparison. The dynamic resource management scheme according to the present invention is well suited for application to future HSDPA technology as the technology is broadly spreading by radio resource management algorithms of radio network controller.
