    • The present invention discloses a method for suppressing cross-slot interference in a time-slotted CDMA system. The method includes: determining, by a base station, positions of cross slots according to configuration information of local cell and configuration information of co-frequency adjacent cells, and performing multi-cell channel estimation on the cross slots to obtain channel estimation results; determining, by the base station, code channel configuration information of the co-frequency adjacent cells, grouping the determined code channels and determining the code channels of the co-frequency adjacent cells involved in a joint detection; and performing, by the base station, the joint detection according to the multi-cell information estimation results and the determined code channels of the base stations involved in the joint detection to obtain detection data. With the present invention, interference from a base station transmitting downlink signals in cross slots to a base station receiving uplink signals in the corresponding slot may be reduced, and the system capacity and the stability may be improved.

    • Finding a channel impulse response estimation window in a current cell for at least one mobile terminal in a neighboring cell is disclosed. This can serve to mitigate interference caused by mobile terminals in neighboring cells in and among communications ongoing in a current cell. In one example, a method for A method for determining such a channel impulse response estimation window includes presetting, in the neighboring cell, at least two channel impulse response peak locations of respective mobile terminals in first and second predetermined periods with a predetermined peak location change pattern, and then upon receiving communication from a mobile terminal of the neighboring cell, analyzing channel impulse responses to identify the peak location change pattern with regard to first and second peak locations. The method further includes identifying a variation range for a channel impulse response of a primary path of the mobile terminal, and determining a channel impulse response estimation window for the mobile terminal based on the identified variation range and a preferred estimation window size.

    • A correction method for time varying channels in a time slot division mobile communication system that includes: performing channel estimation and signal detection for a time-slot or burst signal received with a time invariant block processing method; estimating the channel deviation by using the detection result of some symbols that are near the channel estimation code; correcting the channel estimation with the estimated channel deviation; and demodulating the said detection result with the corrected channel estimation. The procedure can be carried out once or for a plurality of times. This correction method is adaptive to a certain degree of varying of the channel response within a time-slot while keeping the basic characteristics of the block processing method, softening the terms of application thereof in a time-slot CDMA system or similar block processing systems and improving the performance of system under the circumstances of larger frequency deviation and shift as well as higher moving speed of a terminal.
