摘要： An image display method and a device to secure high quality of image are provided. The image display apparatus includes a photo sensitive module having a plurality of sub sensing areas corresponding to a plurality of lens areas, an exposure control module to set exposure starting times of the sub sensing areas to be different from each other, an intermediate image to produce module interpolating a plurality of original images captured by the sub sensing areas to produce a plurality of intermediate images that correspond to the original images, and a final image to produce module rearranging the intermediate images according to the order of the original image to produce final images.

摘要： A method, medium, and system generating and/or implementing a line profile to compensate for displacement differences in an optical modulator. In the method, a test chart made up of a predetermined number of patches that are arranged at regular gray scale intervals is designed. The designed test chart is displayed using a one-dimensional optical modulator, and the displayed test chart is captured using a camera, thereby acquiring a two-dimensional image. Thereafter, the two-dimensional image is divided into a plurality of regions, and the average value of intensity of light is calculated for each horizontal line of the regions. Finally, a line profile is generated and/or implemented for respective horizontal lines using the calculated average values.

摘要： A method of visually measuring the brightness of ambient lighting around a display device is disclosed. In this method, first, a reference brightness of the display device is determined according to a type of display device. Thereafter, information about locations where the display device is used is received from the user, and illuminance values of the display device corresponding to brightness stages are set based on the reference brightness and the location information. Then, a reference brightness is converted into each of the illuminance values corresponding to each of the brightness stages. The converted images with the illumination values corresponding to the brightness stages are displayed to the user, and an image that has a brightness value nearest to the brightness of ambient lighting is selected, and the brightness value of the selected image is determined as the brightness of ambient lighting.

The color temperature conversion method controls a color temperature of an image display device. In the color temperature conversion method, a user-set color temperature is compared with a pre-stored basic color temperature for each sample luminance, thus converting a color temperature of an input pixel. A luminance scale factor corresponding to the user-set color temperature is calculated with respect to the converted input pixel, and a luminance correction conversion function is performed using the calculated luminance scale factor. Accordingly, a color temperature conversion method and apparatus having a luminance correction conversion function corrects luminance using a preset luminance scale factor, thus preventing distorted gray scale representation that may occur in the conversion and correction of color temperature.

Therefore, the apparatus can be applied to video editors, video authoring tool, object based video encoder, interactive video authoring tool, and the like.
