摘要： The present invention relates to a method for labelling a container (4), comprising: introducing thermoplastic label material which is wound on a roll; cutting a label (5) from the label material, the label having a leading edge (6) and a trailing edge (7); wrapping the label around the container so that the leading edge and the trailing edge overlap; welding the leading and the trailing edge together by ultrasonic welding; and shrinking the label at an elevated temperature. The present invention also relates to a labelled container.

The multilayer face film includes at least one layer comprising first cyclic olefin copolymer and second cyclic olefin copolymer and the first cyclic olefin copolymer is different from the second cyclic olefin copolymer. A glass transition temperature of the first cyclic olefin copolymer and the second cyclic olefin copolymer is between 50 and 90 °C. The multilayer face film comprises a second layer comprising terpolymer. The multilayer face film includes less than 20 wt.% polymeric raw material having density greater than 1.5 g/cm 3 . 摘要： A washable label (100) may comprise a heat-shrinkable layer (10) and a heat-activatable layer (20). The label (100) may be attached to an item (ITE1) by a method comprising: heating a portion (21) of the heat-activatable layer (20) by intense visible or infrared light (LB1) so as to transform the surface of the heat-activatable layer (20) from a non-tacky state to a tacky state, and attaching the label (100) to the item (ITE1) when the surface of the heat- activatable layer (20) is in the tacky state, wherein the intensity of the light (LB1) is selected such that spatially averaged temperature (T 10 ) of the heat- shrinkable layer (10) remains lower than the threshold shrinking temperature (T THR ) of the heat-shrinkable layer (10). The label (100) may be easily separated from the item (ITE1) by heating the label (100) such that shrinking of the heat-shrinkable layer (10) peels at least a portion of the label (100) away from the item (ITE1).
