摘要： Powder overspray that is extracted from a spray booth is recovered back to a powder supply that is used to supply powder to the spray guns inside the spray booth. The powder overspray extracted from the booth is separated from the high flow air stream by and then discharged to a feed center. By recovering overspray powder in this fashion, the time required for a color change operation in the powder spray system is greatly reduced.

摘要： A material supply for a material application system such as a powder coating application system includes a feed hopper in the form of a duct. The duct is connectable to negative pressure during a color change process and is disconnected from the negative pressure during a spray application process. The negative pressure can be provided from a powder overspray recovery system such as an after filter blower. Dampers are provided to control air flow through the hopper duct and to allow the duct to be at ambient pressure during a supply mode of operation. The hopper duct also includes a suction interface for pumps, in the form of a siphon ring, as well as a fluidizing function. A removable sieve is provided with an optional vibration feature. Powder may be added to the duct via an access door or transfer pumps for new powder and/or reclaimed powder overspray.

摘要： A holographic optical element (HOE) device is mounted in wireless optical telecommunication system transceiver. The HOE device includes a developed emulsion material having an interference pattern recorded thereon, sandwiched between a pair of elements, such as a pair of clear glass plates. In operation, the HOE device uses the recorded interference pattern to diffract received light rays towards an optical processing unit of the system receiver. A transmitter unit can be positioned at least in part behind the HOE device. An opening in the emulsion material allows a light signal transmitted from the transmitter unit to be substantially unaffected by the recorded interference pattern. The transceiver can also include a spotting scope and an alignment beacon.

摘要： A kit for repairing a worn out of round aperture. The kit includes a template which is later utilized as a part of the repair. In a first embodiment, the template is precisely located by means of utilizing the bottom of the aperture which does not become out of round as does the upper portion thereof and is fixedly attached to the structure containing the out of round aperture. A sacrificial pin is inserted in the out of round aperture, centered therein by means of the bottom non-out of round portion and adhered thereto. A drill is then passed through the boring guide enlarging the out of round aperture to a true round bore and the sacrificial pin is drilled out at the same time. The boring guide is then removed and an enlarged precision pin is inserted into the re-bored aperture. The new pin is fixedly secured in the new aperture by any convenient means such as peening between the pin outer surface and the adjacent structure. In a second embodiment, a similar process using the boring guide and drill to enlarge an out of precision aperture and installing an insert to return the aperture to the original internal diameter.

摘要： A continuous flow dryer system according to various embodiments can include a source for supplying a material to be treated having a high moisture content, such as a distiller wet grain, a profile screw compression dryer, a profile screw, and a drive coupled to the profile screw for axially rotating the profile screw. The profile screw compression dryer includes an inlet for receiving the material for drying, which is fed therein in a controlled manner. The profile screw is provided within the housing of the dryer. The profile screw has a diameter that increases in dimension in a direction away from the inlet for increasing the compressive force applied to the material to assist with drying as the profile screw rotates and moves the material longitudinally along the profile screw to produce a final product, for example, a distiller dried grain for use as an animal feed.
