    • An antenna device includes an antenna for receiving a time information radio wave, and an antenna support member. In the antenna, a coil is wound around a center portion of a core. In the support member, a non-magnetic portion supports two magnetic portions independently and both end portions of the core of the antenna are magnetically coupled with the magnetic portions. A radio wave controlled timepiece includes a case in an inner space of which the antenna and the support member are installed as described above. In the inner space, a time counting unit, a time display unit connected to the time counting unit, and a time updating unit configured to update the time displayed on the display unit, based on the time information radio wave received by the antenna, are installed.

    • An antenna includes a rod-like core configured by an amorphous metal formed into a bulk configuration, and a coil wound around the core. An electronic device includes a case encasing the antenna, a sectional area of each longitudinal end portion of the core being larger than that of a central portion of the core. The antenna may be disposed under a radio wave permeable decorative plate in such a manner that a magnetic sheet is attached to each end portion of the core to protrude outwards from the core or that an expanded portion is disposed in each end portion and has such a shape to make a side of a surface of the expanded portion facing the decorative plate receive more radio wave than a side of a surface of the expanded portion opposite to the facing surface in relation to an axial line of the antenna.

    • The present invention provides: an unsaturated carboxylate which has both an unsaturated group and a hydroxyl group, and is applicable to a wide range of crosslinking processes, and has moderate polymerizability, and has a novel specific structure; and a production process which enables to obtain this unsaturated carboxylate without causing the rearrangement of the carbon-carbon unsaturated bond of the raw unsaturated oxirane, and gives a high production ratio of unsaturated oxirane-1-mol adduct. A reaction of a specific unsaturated carboxylic acid with a specific unsaturated oxirane is carried out using at least one catalyst selected from the group consisting of chromium compounds, manganese compounds, iron compounds, nickel compounds, zinc compounds, silver compounds, tin compounds, neodymium compounds, and lead compounds, thereby obtaining an unsaturated carboxylate of general formula (1).
