    • The signal processing method of the present invention produces interpolated signal values in an image signal by an inverse discrete cosine transformation with a set of frequency coefficients by decreasing an interval for reproduction of pixel signal values, wherein a set of frequency coefficients is provided by a discrete cosine transformation and is compensated for the frequency response caused by dividing pixels. According to the invention, an image signal similar to that obtained with a solid-state imaging device constructed by divided pixels is provided. Hence, even when the number of horizontal pixels and/or the number of vertical pixels of the solid-state imaging device are a half of that of a display apparatus used, an image signal suitable to the display apparatus can be produced.

    • A method for reproducing a low noise signal for a solid state imaging device which can reduce not only the reset noise but the amplifier noise around frequency zero, avoiding the saturation of the voltage conversion part in a bright scene, is accomplished by controlling a reset pulse of a CCD imaging device according to the result of comparing the output signal of the CCD imaging device with a reference signal value. When the output signal of the CCD imaging device is smaller than the reference signal value, the reset pulse is not applied to the CCD imaging device. Thereat, a pixel signal is reproduced as a differential signal between two signals sampled at two points with an interval of T0, the amplifier noise around frequency zero being reduced in the pixel signals.

    • A punch assisting apparatus usable in combination with one of a plurality of punches includes an apparatus base and a handle pivotably attached to the apparatus base, the apparatus base being provided with a punch holder integrated therein which allows the plurality of punches having different sizes to be independently positioned and fixed in accordance with their respective sizes.     • A digital signal transmission system operates in a mode for transmitting multiplexed signals as a serial digital signal and in a mode for transmitting only a predetermined signal.
