摘要： A loop track for racing objects is disposed at the center of a race game device, for example for a simulated horse race. A plurality of racing objects, such as race horses, run on the track. The X- and Y-directional positions of the race horses are detected by a separable position detecting means underlying the track. The separable position detecting means allows for easier maintenance, transport, assembly, and disassembly of the device. Information regarding the positions of the horses is displayed on a game screen. Players can write memos to themselves on individual game screens by pressing a trace over the game information on the game screen. A control unit provides game information corresponding to other races other than a current race, including future races, and players may select information corresponding to future races on the individual game screen.

The alignment plate is retracted from the from the press-fitting head when the press-fitting head press-fits the press-fit portions into the substrate.

The document is divided into segments by specified tags, and a level of association with an adjacent segment is calculated. A header is detected by a header tag, and the header information is added to the segment contained in the range of the header. Segments are divided and re-integrated according to the level of association therebetween, and indexes are prepared. A search is executed for two indexes, and the level of matching is calculated by weighting the search results for the indexes, and the search result judged according to such level of matching is stored or outputted for each segment.

摘要： The disclosed method of measuring the flow of a fluid with a porous particulate ceramic tracer and an optical instrument is characterized in that spherical particles having diameters in the range of 0.5 to 150 &mgr;m are used as the tracer. Inasmuch as the tracer particles for flow measurement are spherical, the sectional area of scattered light to be detected by an optical sensor means is constant regardless of the orientation of particles. Furthermore, spherical particles have no surface irregularities that might cause concatenation so that individual particles are not agglomerated in tracking a fluid flow, thus contributing to improved measurement accuracy.
