摘要： A method in a base station (110) for enabling the base station (110) to identify a neighbouring base station (120) is provided. A request is being sent (303) to a user equipment (130), commanding it to send an identification requesting message to the neighbouring base station (120). In response to reception of the sent identification requesting message, a neighbouring base station identifier that is associated with and identifies the neighbouring base station (120), is received (303). Thereby the base station (110) is enabled to identify the neighbouring base station (120). By receipt of the neighbouring base station identifier, the base station becomes aware of and is enabled to contact, or connect with, the neighbouring base station more directly, without the need of doing it through the user equipment. This can be done at some later point in time, for example in order to request the neighbouring base station to perform handover measurements with regard to the same or another user equipment.

The methods involve identifying one or more radio resources which are subjected to inter-cell interference between a first cell and a second cell. Further, transmissions in the one or more radio resources are controlled based on comparison of the service values, thus enabling inter-cell service value-based scheduling of the one or more radio resources, prioritizing services having the highest value per radio resource.

The affected cells receiving such a message can be adapted to use the information in the message when determining self-optimization parameters used for control purposes. 摘要： The present invention relates to a method and a communication network node for automatically tuning a PRACH configuration parameter in a communication network system comprising radio base stations each serving at least one cell and with which user equipments are communicating on uplink and downlink channels. The PRACH configuration parameter is used for defining the division of uplink resource blocks between PRACH and PUSCH. Load statistics on RACH and PUSCH are collected used for determining a number of RACH opportunities required per time unit. Then a new PRACH configuration parameter having said required number of RACH opportunities per time unit is selected which is replacing the old PRACH configuration parameter.

摘要： A method for detecting a malfunction in a cell of a telecommunication network is proposed. The cell is adapted to serve a plurality of user devices identified by user identities and to handle signaling and/or data traffic between the network and the user devices. A lack of traffic is detected in the cell. Further, at least one user identity which identifies a user device is selected. The selected user device is served by the cell. Then a paging message is sent to the user device which is identified by the at least one selected user identity. Finally the malfunction of the cell is validated in case no response message is sent by the user device to said paging message.
