    • A radio controlled timepiece includes: a radio wave receiving section which outputs a time code signal; an indicator display section which performs a display regarding a reception condition; a level change detecting section which detects a change of a signal level of the time code signal in a predetermined detection interval in a period of 1 second; an indicator control section which controls a content of the display based on a number of times that the change of the detected signal level appears; and an interval setting section which specifies the detection interval as a whole interval of the period of 1 second during a detecting process of a synchronization point in the time code signal every 1 second, and narrows the detection interval to be a certain interval within the period of 1 second after a detection of the synchronization point every 1 second.

    • A valve-integrated transponder includes an air valve and a casing that are integrated with each other, and is disposed within a tire. The air valve is press-fitted to a valve hole in a wheel rim. The casing houses a substrate having a detecting element mounted thereon, an inverse F antenna element, a supporting member, and the like, and is provided with a partition-like reinforcement rib. The reinforcement rib extends along an extension of an axis of the air valve and is loosely fitted in a recessed slot of the supporting member. The antenna element supported by the supporting member has a substantially line symmetrical shape where a pair of radiation conductors symmetrically extend away from each other.

    • A valve-integrated transponder includes an air valve and a casing that are integrated with each other, and is disposed within a tire. The two radiation conductors of the antenna element disposed on the substrate are inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the substrate, so as to be disposed substantially in parallel to the well that extends at the inner side of the transponder as viewed in the radial direction of the tire.

    • Code data indicated by a time code signal is judged according to the kind of a standard frequency broadcast to be received at the time of decoding the time code signal. For example, in the case of receiving a JJY standard frequency broadcast, the time code signal falls at time points t21 and t23 in a second period T2, and the code data indicated by the time code signal in the second period T2 is judged based on the time point t23 at which the time code signal falls last between the time points t21 and t23. Thereby, even if a lot of noise components are included in a reception signal, the pertinently detection of the time information is enabled.
