摘要： A connector is moveable between a coupled state and an uncoupled state with respect to a counter connector. Plural contact members of the connector individually contact respective, plural contacts of the counter connector when coupled together. A contact module of the connector has a pair of contacts individually contacting and short circuiting a corresponding pair of respective contacts of the counter connector, in a selected one of the coupled and uncoupled states thereof. The contact module may include a pair of output terminals corresponding to the pair of contacts and a switch, actuated between first and second states in accordance with the coupled and uncoupled states of the connector, a selected one of the coupled and uncoupled states producing short circuiting of the pair of output terminals.

摘要： An impedance matched electrical connector comprising a plug connector member and a matable jack connector member for an electric connection between printed wiring boards. The plug connector member comprises a plug housing of insulating material in which planar and elongated male conductors, a first row of male signal terminals, and a second row of male signal terminals are arranged in respective, parallel planes. A conductive ground shell is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the plug housing, so that the first and second rows of male signal terminals are arranged between the elongated male conductors and a planar portion of the ground shell, respectively, to thereby form a strip line structure by which the impedance of the connector is matched to the impedance of the printed wiring boards and the amount of crosstalk is relatively low.

The coaxial connector includes a center conductor, a surrounding conductor by which the center conductor is surrounded, and an insulating housing. The leg portion and the lugs are exposed on a bottom surface of the housing. The coaxial connector is mounted on the circuit board with the leg portion pressed against a signal pad on the circuit board for electrical connection and the lugs pressed against a ground pad for electrical connection.

Transition routes in which one frequency each is selected from each of the peak-to-peak distances, are formed. An average of the frequencies included in the transition route is taken as a frequency f0 of the basic width.
