摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain castable refractory capable of maintaining fluidity of slurry and furthermore of reducing the pores generated in the structure after hardening by adding basic aluminum lactate powder to the mixed powder of refractory aggregate powder and alkaline binder powder and mixing Li salt in addition thereto. CONSTITUTION:Castable refractory is obtained by adding and blending both alkaline binder powder and basic aluminum powder with refractory aggregate powder regulated in grain size. As the essential requirement, especially the alkaline binder has >=9.0pH and hydration reaction is shown. furthermore, the alkaline binder, basic aluminum and Li salt are added and mixed respectively in the rate of 2-25 pts.wt., 0.2-50 pts.wt. and 0.01-3.0 pts.wt. for 100 pts.wt. refractory aggregate powder. Further, as the above-mentioned refractory aggregate powder, one or more kinds of alumina and chamotte may be selected. Furthermore, the castable refractory has effect of enhancing strength after hardening because this has the above-mentioned characteristics.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial furnace having a heat insulating layer in which a castable refractory hardly drops on the refractory wall surface of the industrial furnace or the like and a construction method for the heat insulating layer of the industrial furnace which can be easily constructed for a short time. SOLUTION: An air setting mortar 2 with a prescribed thickness is applied substantially uniformly on the inner side surface of the refractory wall 1 of an industrial furnace or the like. A light castable refractory 3 is further applied substantially uniformly with a prescribed thickness to the upper surface of the air setting mortar 2. Thus, a heat insulating layer is formed on the inner side surface of the refractory wall 1. The air setting mortar 2 is desirably formed so as to have the thickness of 1 to 10 mm on the surface of the refractory wall 1. Further, the air setting mortar and the castable refractory are applied by a spray means or a lever coating means.
