    • PURPOSE:To obtain the apparatus which is compact and has an excellent thermal efficiency, and is allowed to control the generating quantity of reformed gas to be optional one by joining combustion gases generated in each hydrocarbon reformer in a fire-resisting and heat-insulating hausing and then discharging. CONSTITUTION:The flow passage of combustion gas (A) formed in the clearance between a rising pipe and a inner pipe 5 in each of reformers A-G is opened at the top end side of reaction pipe 2 into the inner part of the housing 1. The combustion gas (C) flowing out of the opening part flows through the space S packed with heat transmitting packing as a common flow passage in the housing 1 while heating each reaction pipe 2, 2,... from the outside of each outer pipe 6, 6,..., and is discharged through an exhaust gas discharge pipe 13. The raw material gas (A) introduced through a raw material gas pipe XI is branched into each raw material gas supplying pipe 11, 11,..., and then flows through each reaction pipe 2, 2,... while being heated with the combustion gas (C) to be reformed, and the reformed gases from each reformed gas taking- out pipe 12, 12,... are joined together in a reformed gas pipe XII to be discharged.

    • PURPOSE:To prepare the title gas rich in CO through easy and accurate regulation of H2/CO ratio, by incomplete combustion of a hydrocarbon fuel contg. CO2 and steam added thereto within a gas generator. CONSTITUTION:A mixed gas prepd. by feeding steam from a supply pipe 30 into CO2 contained in a supply pipe 28 is added to a hydrocarbon fuel (e.g., C6H6) contained in a supply pipe 29, thereby preparing a mixed fuel. The fuel thus prepd. is introduced into the inside 7 of a gas generator 1 through an inner pipe 12 while O2 is introduced thereinto as a combustion improver through an outer pipe 13, where the fuel is burned, thereby preparing a mixed gas mainly composed of H2 and CO. The mixed gas is discharged from an exhaust passage 5, and the heat is removed therefrom in a waste heat boiler 20. Then, the moisture is removed therefrom in a scrubber 21, and dust is removed therefrom with a dust collector 23. The pressure of the treated gas is raised with a compressor 24, and CO2 is separated in a CO2 absorber 26, thereby preparing a gas product. On the other hand, CO2 separated in the absorber 26 is purified in a CO2 stripper 27 and then circulated in a supply pipe 28.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a lamellar catalyst having a uniform thickness distribution by extruding coaxially a slurry contg. a catalyst and a carrier or the like on a supporter such as a pipe and a rod, drying it to make a ring-shaped green body and opening it to make a lamellar shape. CONSTITUTION:In relation to a lamellar catalyst used for a reforming type fuel cell or the like, both a slurry 11 contg. a catalyst, a carrier and an aid catalyst, if necessary, and a supporter 12 such as a pipe and a rod are inserted into a vessel or an extruder provided with a mouthpiece having a prescribed shape and this supporter 12 is coaxially extruded from the mouthpiece having the prescribed shape together with the slurry 11 while sticking the slurry 11 on the supporter 12. A ring-shaped green body is obtained by heating the ring- shaped slurry on the supporter 12 and a lamellar green body is obtained by opening it in the extrusion direction on the supporter 12 and developing it. In such a way, the lamellar catalyst having a regular thickness distribution in accordance with the mouthpiece shape is obtained.
