摘要： An electrically conductive framework for eyewear providing mutually insulated, plural conducting paths placed in coaxial relationship. The base metal of the eyewear frame comprises the first electrically conductive lead with an insulative coating being applied over the base metal followed by a second, outer conductive layer and a protective sheath. The outer conductive layer comprises the second lead of the circuit, with masking or abrading of the insulative layer at selected points along the framework establishing the needed contacts to the base metal core. The framework provides the electric path of a circuit including a power source and any desired electronic component on the eyewear.

摘要： A substitute for a conventional incandescent light bulb includes a CFL with a specially equipped base structure disposed between the male connector and the coiled fluorescent tube. The modified base includes an active vapor dispenser and, preferably, a heater for increasing and/or controlling the rate of active vapor emission. The male connector may be a threaded male Edison-type connector or any other type of male connector for use with female light sockets. The disclosed devices provide an energy-efficient source of white light and controlled active or fragrance emission. The base may also be equipped with one or more electrical connection ports for connection the base to one or more accessories such as volatile active dispensers or colored light emitting devices.

摘要： Disclosed are liquid dispensing devices suitable for use to dispense liquid from a container. They have a conventional sprayer associated with a flexible down tube. The down tube has an essentially rigid upper section linked to the sprayer, an essentially rigid lower section suitable to extend into the container, and an intermediate flexible section. An essentially rigid member (e.g. a sleeve) is mounted on/to the down tube so as to move between a first position in which it covers the flexible section so as to restrict pivoting of the lower section relative to the upper section, to a second position in which it permits the lower section to pivot relative to the upper section. As the down tube is being inserted in the container a flange on the sleeve is held by the container lip so that the sleeve is caused to move between the two positions. The down tube structure is thus rigid during assembly of the tube with the container, but automatically becomes flexible thereafter. Methods of assembly are also disclosed using these structures.
