    • A zoom lens includes first to third lens groups having negative, positive, and positive refractive powers, respectively. When a lens position state changes from a wide-angle to a telephoto, all lens groups are moved in an optical axis direction so that a distance between the first and second lens groups decreases and a distance between the second and third lens groups increases. A close-distance focusing is accomplished by moving the third lens group. The first lens group is composed of negative and positive lens components. The second lens group is composed of a positive lens component, and a cemented lens composed of a positive lens of biconvex shape, and a negative lens of biconcave shape. The third lens group is composed of a positive lens component in which at least one of object-side and image-side lens surfaces is aspheric. The zoom lens is satisfied a predetermined condition.

    • An object is to provide a centrifugal blower with reduced noise. The centrifugal blower is provided with: an impeller; a casing that houses the impeller and forms a spiral flow passage that surrounds a radial direction outside of the impeller; and a driving device that rotates the impeller about an axis. The impeller has: a bottom plate; a plurality of blades provided on a same circumference of the bottom plate; and a substantially annular plate shape shroud that has the blades interposed between it and the bottom plate, and that is disposed concentric with the bottom plate, and that connects end sections of the respective blades. The shroud has: an inclined section that comes closer to the bottom plate moving from a radial direction inside to a radial direction outside; and a shroud side barrier that rises from a position on the radial direction outside of the inclined section towards a side opposite to the bottom plate. The casing is provided with a bell-mouth that opens from a radial direction inside of the shroud to a radial direction outside, and a casing side barrier that projects to an area between the inner periphery of the shroud and the shroud side barrier.

    • The present invention provides a technique for improving the security of access to contents.A virus/phishing site list contains a list of URLs of phishing sites, which masquerade as valid websites and are provided with an attempt to acquire private information including card numbers, PIN numbers and passwords, from users illegally. When a communication control unit receives, via a network, a packet that contains communication data for requesting access to a content, a search circuit compares the URL of the content to be accessed included in the communication data, with URLs of phishing sites included in the virus/phishing site list, regardless of the need for access control of the communication data. If the address of the content to be accessed matches a URL of a phishing site, a process execution circuit will prohibit the access to the content.

    • Upon obtaining a detection signal of a shock sensor that detects a shock applied to an apparatus for output, a write disabling unit disables writing by a head on a medium over a predetermined time corresponding to a shock convergence.
