    • An apparatus for driving a display panel having drive lines and capacitive light emitting elements. The apparatus sequentially selects one scanning line from the scanning lines every scanning period of input video data including a gradation level to specify a drive line corresponding to at least one capacitive light emitting element driven to emit light on the one scanning line in accordance with the input video data, generates a driving signal having a pulse width in accordance with the gradation level every scanning period, and applies the one capacitive light emitting element with a voltage equal to or higher than a light emission threshold voltage in a forward direction for a duration in which the driving signal is generated, through the one scanning line and the specified drive line, and applies the specified drive line with a predetermined potential in response to elimination of the driving signal to decrease the voltage applied to the one capacitive light emitting element in the forward direction to a voltage lower than the light emission threshold voltage.

    • An insulating holder has a first face and a second face, with a first hole that has a first diameter at the first face, and a second hole that has a second diameter larger than the first diameter and extended from the second face so as to communicate with the first hole. Inside the second hole is a plate-shaped conductive terminal that has a base portion and at least one pair of guide portions extended from the base portion so as to define a concave portion between opposed inner edges of the guide portions. The concave portion faces the first hole. Included in between the opposed inner edges of the guide portions is a conductive pin with a plunger portion that has a diameter smaller than the first diameter and a bulged portion that has a diameter larger than the first diameter. The bulged portion of the pin has opposed grooves at its periphery that run parallel to the plunger portion's longitudinal axis and is fitted with the guide portions so as to be slidable along the concave portion. A spring member is also provided in the concave portion so as to urge the pin toward the first face of the holder, so that the plunger portion of the pin is retractably protruded from the first face of the holder through the first hole.

    • An organic EL panel with less variation in an emission luminance thereof and a method for manufacturing a light-emitting device using the same are provided. The organic EL panel of the present invention includes: a substrate; a light-emitting section of the organic EL panel provided on the substrate; a current supply terminal provided on the substrate for supplying a current to the light-emitting section; and a current density adjusting section electrically connected to the current supply terminal in parallel to the light-emitting section and provided on the substrate. A current density of the light-emitting section is adjusted by processing of the current density adjusting section. Moreover, in the method for manufacturing a light-emitting device according to the present invention, after a light-emitting characteristic is adjusted by processing a post-processing region of the above-described organic EL panel, a light-emitting device including the processed organic EL panel is manufactured.
