摘要： A connector for electrical terminals comprises a housing having, a plurality of cavities, a plurality of respective resiliently deformable locking members, and a plurality of respective terminals. Each terminal is inserted in the respective cavity and has (a) a partially inserted position in which the terminal bears on the respective locking member to deform the locking member so that the locking member is proud of a peripheral surface of the housing, and (b) a fully inserted position in which the locking member snap-fits to the terminal thereby locking the terminal in said cavity. The connector further comprises a bus bar holder having a sleeve which accommodates a plurality of bus bar tab pieces. The sleeve is push-fitted over the peripheral surface of the housing to install the bus bar holder to the housing and to contact the tab pieces to the terminals, whereby the terminals are electrically connected to each other. Each locking member has an end surface portion which is adapted so that when, on push-fitting of the sleeve, a terminal is in the partially inserted position with the respective locking member proud of the peripheral surface of the housing, the sleeve bears on the end surface portion to prevent installation of the bus bar holder.

摘要： A connector component is disclosed, including a terminal. The terminal has a box-shaped connection portion which in use contacts a mating male-side terminal. An electrical wire connection portion connected to an electrical wire is provided rearward from the box-shaped connection portion. The height of the box-shaped connection portion is greater than that of the wire connection portion. A guard member projects from both side walls located between the box-shaped connection portion and the wire connection portion. When an electrically conductive plate material is cut and bent to form the terminal, the guard member is formed such that a tip of the guard member is integral with both side walls and folded inward in the terminal to prevent a sharp edge from being exposed to the outside. A periphery of a terminal insertion opening in a seal of the connector housing is prevented from being damaged when pressing the terminal into a terminal insertion opening of a resilient sealing member or when removing it therefrom.

摘要： To prevent an electric wire cover from being attached upside down, ribs 16 and 24 are formed respectively on the outer peripheral upper face of a housing 10 and the inner peripheral lower face of an electric wire cover 20. Two wire distribution spaces 36U and 36L are provided between the housing 10 and the electric wire cover 20, extending along the upper and lower faces of the housing 10. When the electric wire cover 20 is correctly attached, the ribs 16 and 24 of the housing 10 and the electric wire cover 20 do not interfere with one another. However, when the electric wire cover 20 is upside down, the ribs 16 and 24 interfere with one another, thereby preventing the attachment of the electric wire cover 20.

When the molds 21, 22 are closed, a closed connector molding space 20A is defined therebetween and the first closing projection 32 closes the second identification rib forming groove 26.
