    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform excellent bearing effect by preventing an uneven load to a bearing of a rotary shaft in a bearing device of the rotary shaft of a pump used for river and sea water service. SOLUTION: A bearing case 3 is fitted to a casing 1, a retainer 5 is held on an inner surface of the case 3 by elastic bodies 6, 7, 10, 13, and upper and lower elastic bodies 10, 13 are supported on the bearing case 3 through holding plates 11, 14 and bolts 12, 15. A ceramics bearing 4 is shrink fitted to the inner surface of the retainer 5 to rotatably support the rotary shaft 2. A stopper pin 8 is embedded in the case 3, its tip is inserted in an oblong locking hole 9 in the retainer 5 with a clearance, and the retainer 5 is movable in the radial direction and in the axial direction. Even when the rotary shaft 2 is inclined and unevenly loaded onto the bearing 4, the retainer 5 is moved by the elastic bodies 6, 7, 10, 13 to avoid the uneven load, and the wear of the bearing is prevented and excellent bearing effect is performed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a journal bearing of high reliability applied to the bearing of a large-sized rotational machine. SOLUTION: A journal bearing is composed of pressure measuring holes 4A, 4B for detecting the oil film pressure in symmetrical positions between the width directional center of a bearing 2 and both end parts of the bearing 2 below the surface of the bearing 2, a working oil supply hole 20 for supplying working oil to an oil groove 6 recessed on a spherical bearing 9, a computer 14 for operating a relative inclination α by calculating an oil film pressure ratio by means of detection signals from the pressure measuring holes 4A, 4B and outputting operation signals when the relative inclination α gets out of its allowable absolute value αa, and working oil suppliers 6, 17 which supply working oil to an oil groove 6 for reducing load on the bearing 2 acting on the spherical bearing 9 to such an extent as not reaching zero. Thereby, automatic centering is carried out without reducing the frictional coefficient μ of the spherical bearing 9 in order to restrict a relative inclination α within its allowable absolute value αa so that any damage and seizure of the bearing 2 may be prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the limit of use of a slide bearing concerning peripheral speed of a rotary part and facial pressure of the bearing by cooling a fluid film of a slide part by lubricating fluid which seeps through porous members mounted in an inlet part and an outlet part of a slide face. SOLUTION: Porous members 5, 5 provided on a surface of a front end F of a tapered part 2A of a bearing pad 2 and a surface of a land part 2B are attached to a main body part of a bearing pad 2 by using bolts. Fluid supply ports 6, 6 are opened on rear surfaces of these front and rear porous members 5, 5, respectively, and lubricating fluid having a low temperature is supplied into these fluid supply ports 6, 6 through a fluid supply passage 7 from the outside. At this time, since pressure of a fluid film on surfaces of a front end part F and a rear end part R of the bearing pad 2 is low, the fluid supplied on the rear surface of the porous member 5 through the fluid supply passage 7 and the fluid supply port 6 passes the porous member 5 and is supplied to a surface of a bearing surface. Consequently, the fluid film having a high temperature is cooled, thereby preventing burning.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the initial lubricating performance and prevent the operation in a dry state, as for a bearing device which is constituted so as to introduce water to a bearing surface. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 5 having a skirt shaped lower part is installed on a rotary shaft 4. A metal retainer 2 is installed on a casing 1, and a space charged with a humidifier 6 is formed between both, and an upper humidifying hole 8 is formed on an upper flange 7 covering the upper part of the space. In the lower part of the casing 1, a fixed flange 10 is installed, having an O-ring 11 interposed, and an erected cylindrical part 10' for receiving the lower part of the skirt shaped lower part of the sleeve 5, on the outside, is formed. Inside the metal retainer 2, a ceramic bearing 3 is installed. On the outside of the cylindrical part 10' of the fixed flange 10, the moisture in the atmosphere which is absorbed by the adsorbent 6 is led from a water supply hole 9, and the bearing part between the ceramic bearing 3 and the sleeve 6 is water-lubricated by the moisture.
