    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and apparatus for performing a handover in a digital broadcasting system.
      SOLUTION: In the present invention, the method includes: measuring a strength of a received signal from a serving broadcast transmitter during a reception of a broadcast service; comparing the strength of a received signal with a reference value; periodically measuring the strength of a received signal while continuously receiving the broadcast service if the strength of a received signal is larger than the reference value and transmitting a request message requesting a start of execution of a handover procedure of a broadcasting system to a mobile communication base station if the strength of a received signal is smaller than the reference value; and executing the handover procedure from the serving broadcast transmitter to a target broadcast transmitter upon receipt of an acceptance message for an execution of a handover of the broadcasting system from the mobile communication base station. Thereby, an error of a handover is reduced and an execution time of a handover can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network sharing (NS) system about a radio access network (RAN) which two or more CN operators share, and to provide a method to inform a CN operator chosen from terminal to RAN. SOLUTION: When requiring a transmission of the initial direct transfer (IDT) message which demands signaling connection, a terminal takes the selected CN operator identifier among CN operator identifier lists broadcast from cell which established radio resources control (RRC) connection, and transmits the gained identifier included in an IDT message to RAN. If RAN receives an IDT message from a terminal, it judges whether or not the IDT message contains an identifier. If the identifier is included, RAN will store the identifier to a terminal. If not contained, RAN will read the identifier stored in the context to a terminal. Then the RAN chooses CN operator for a terminal using the identifier stored in the context to a terminal.
