    • A photo-therapeutic, electrodeless lamp (10) comprising a closed-loop envelope (12) containing an arc generating and sustaining medium that includes mercury. A phosphor coating (14) is provided on the interior surface of the envelope (12). The phosphor coating is capable of generating a first radiation in response to excitation from 254 nm radiation and provides the first radiation having an energy output in the region of 335-430 nm. This wavelength region is most efficient for the treatment of morphea or scleroderma. The output radiated energy from the lamp in the 335-430 nm region is ≧20,000 μW/cm2. In a preferred embodiment of the invention the phosphor is SrB4O7:Eu, which has a spectral response with a peak between 366-368 nm with a bandwidth of about 18 nm.

    • A method of using a non-GPS-derived technique to estimate the location of an Assisted-GPS-enabled wireless terminal for the purposes of generating location-specific assistance data for the wireless terminal is disclosed. The wireless terminal then uses the assistance data to acquire and process one or more GPS signals and to derive information that is probative of the wireless terminal's location. The GPS-derived location information is then combined with non-GPS-derived location to form an estimate of the location of the wireless terminal that is better than can be derived from either alone. This combination of GPS-derived and non-GPS techniques is particularly useful when the wireless terminal can only acquire one or two GPS signals because it is not possible to determine the location of the wireless terminal with only two GPS signals alone.

The sparger grid assembly is formed in a window pane grid-like arrangement of individual sparger pane units, each of which are mounted in a support frame, and each of which utilize individual stack of flat plates, the plates respectively having inlet slots and outlet slots, and interconnecting plenums, to create a series of passageways to substantially subdivide the flow stream of steam into smaller portions to reduce fluid pressure. The individual sparger units can be formed of a standard size, or instead formed of custom sizes, and greater or less numbers of individual window pane sparger units can be used in the frame, depending on the given end-use application.

    • A product-on-demand delivery system applies an agricultural product, such as seed, to a field. The system includes a frame that mounts a main hopper, a splitter fitting, a primary product hose, a secondary product hose, a primary application unit and a secondary application unit. The main hopper has an air nozzle wherein an air stream through the air nozzle entrains product within the air stream and delivers the air/product to the primary outlet hose. The splitter fitting has a splitter inlet flow-connected to the primary product hose and two splitter outlets flow-connected to the application units. The secondary application unit is coupled to the primary product supply hose by the secondary product hose connected at an outlet branch. The outlet branch is connected at an angle such that a product flow velocity vector in the primary product supply hose at the outlet branch is at an obtuse angle to a flow velocity vector of product flowing through the outlet branch. The outlet branch is oriented for a vertical upward flow of air and product.
