    • The invention concerns a fuel-injection pump for internal-combustion engines, the pump having a piston (18), a drive shaft (11) to actuate the piston (18) and a sensor (30) to determine the angle of rotation of the shaft (11), the sensor pulse transmitter being designed as a wheel (32) rotatably mounted on the drive shaft (11) and the sensor pulse pick-up (31) being mounted on a support ring (35) rotatably seated on the shaft (11). In order to ensure precise, narrow-tolerance positioning of the pulse-transmission wheel (32) and the pulse pick-up (31) in both the longitudinal and radial directions, the pulse pick-up (31) is fitted in a housing (40) and the housing is both positively locked and force-locked to the support ring (35) by plug-in elements. Located on the sensor housing (40) are slip surfaces (41, 42), against which opposite sides of the pulse-transmission wheel (32) rest, and a stop surface (46) which is located to match in the radial direction a stop surface on the support ring (35).
