摘要： Apparatuses, methods, and computer readable media are disclosed for fragmentation of media access control service data units (MSDU) in a high-efficiency wireless local-area network. An apparatus of a access point or station comprising memory and processing circuitry coupled to the memory is disclosed. The processing circuitry is configured to fragment a media access control (MAC) service data unit (MSDU) into two or more MSDU fragments, and encapsulate the two or more MSDU fragments into two or more aggregated MSDUs (A-MSDUs); one or more A-MSDUs and one or more MAC protocol data units (MPDUs); or, two or more MPDUs. The processing circuitry may be further configured to encode a delimiter in front of a first fragment of the two or more MSDU fragments, where the delimiter indicates a length of the two or more MSDU fragments, and to encode each MPDU to comprise a sequence number.

In some embodiments, the HEW AP may transmit a resource allocation message to indicate an allocation of sub-channels to one or more HEW stations for uplink data transmissions. Information included in the resource allocation message may include various indicators related to full or partial allocation of the sub-channels and whether equal allocations are made for each of the HEW stations. A sub-channel mapping block may also be included to indicate how the sub-channels are assigned to the HEW stations. In some cases, the length of the sub-channel mapping block may vary based at least partly on the indicators included in the message.

A HEW station is disclosed that may include circuitry configured to receive a trigger frame with a first duration from a HEW master station, determine a second duration based on the first duration, generate a packet with the second duration, and transmit the packet with the second duration in an uplink transmission opportunity to the master station in accordance with at least one from the following group: orthogonal frequency division multiple-access and multiple-user multiple-input multiple-output. The trigger frame may include a resource map and the HEW station may transmit the packet on a channel indicated in the resource map. The second duration may be indicated in a legacy portion of the packet. The second duration may extend to one short interframe space before an acknowledgement of the packet.

The coordinator AP is configured to assign non-overlapping channels to one or more coordinated APs of overlapping BSSs to schedule time-sensitive traffic to help ensure bounded latency, jitter and reliability per BSS. In some embodiments, the AP may be configured for performing transmission level coordination and may initiate a coordinated transmission opportunity (TXOP) for resource assignment to control contention access among managed BSSs. To perform the BSS channel level coordination, the coordinator AP is configured to encode a multi-AP trigger frame (M-TF) to initiate the coordinated TXOP. The M-TF may be encoded to include a time-sensitive operation IE indicating how each STA is to access the channel within the coordinated TXOP.

The AP may be configurable for multi-band operation in a plurality of frequency bands, each frequency band comprising one or more channels. The AP may select a subset of the frequency bands for which the AP is to request per-band channel availability information from the STA. The AP may transmit a Trigger Frame (TF) for a multi-band bandwidth query report polling (MB-BQRP) to request the per-band channel availability information. The AP may receive an uplink frame that includes a multi-band bandwidth query report (MB-BQR) that indicates the per-band channel availability information. The AP may determine, based on the MB-BQR, for an uplink transmission by the STA: one or more frequency bands of the subset of frequency bands, and one or more corresponding channels.
