    • A handwriting input device includes a hollow charger and a handwriting pen. The charger includes a number of first contacts and a connecting unit. The handwriting pen includes a number of second contacts, a communication unit, a light source to emit light, an optical sensor, and a microcontroller. When the charger is connected to an external electronic device through the connecting unit, and the handwriting pen is inserted into the charger to cause each second contact to be contacted with one first contact, the handwriting pen can obtain power from the external electronic device. When the charger is moved, together with the handwriting pen being charged, the optical sensor converts the light reflected from a reflective surface under the charger into the electrical signals. The microcontroller generates and transmits the cursor control signals or the track control signals to the external electronic device.

    • A handwriting input device includes a vibration sensor, a motion sensor, a communication unit, and a microcontroller. The vibration sensor is tuned to a range of frequencies that includes the expected vibration frequency generated by a finger wearing the device when the finger writes on a surface. The motion sensor senses movement of the device. The microcontroller generates cursor control signals according to the movement sensed by the motion sensor and generates handwriting activation signals when a frequency of vibration detected by the vibration sensor falls within the range of frequencies, and transmits the cursor control signals and the handwriting activation signals to an external electronic device communicating with the device through the communication unit to signal the external electronic device to control movement of a displayed cursor and displays the track of the movement of the displayed cursor.

    • An electronic device includes a touch screen, a storage unit storing a plurality of electronic files and relationships between display contacts and functions, and a processing unit. The touch screen produces contact signals in response to user's display contacts. The processing unit detects the user's display contacts according to the contact signals, determines a function corresponding to the user's display contact according to the relationships, and determines the function is a data transmitting function when the display contact is a pre-defined corresponding contact. The processing unit further determines an electronic file displayed on the touch screen and transmits the determined electronic file, when determining the function is the data transmitting function.

    • An electronic device includes a liquid crystal display (LCD) screen, an electronic paper display (EPD) screen, storage, a switch module, and a CPU. The LCD screen is configured to display a primary user interface when the electronic device powers on. The EPD screen is configured to display predefined content stored in the storage set when the electronic device powers off. The switch module is configured to power the electronic device on or off in response to user input, and generate a corresponding control signal. The CPU is configured to register the control signal send by the switch module. When the control signal is the power off signal, the CPU directs the EPD screen to display the predefined content.
