    • The invention relates to an oscillator circuit (10) comprising: a VCO core (8) having an output terminal (56) for providing an oscillatory output signal thereat and having a supply terminal (60) for receiving a supply voltage from a voltage supply (28), a subsequent circuit (6) coupled to the VCO core's output terminal (56) and having a supply terminal (72) for receiving a supply voltage from the voltage supply (28). According to the invention, a decoupling member (82, 83) is arranged between the VCO core's supply terminal (60) and the subsequent circuit's supply terminal (72) for preventing high-frequency signals generated by the subsequent circuit at its supply terminal (72) from entering the VCO core. The decoupling member (82, 83) may comprise a transmission line the length of which is one quarter wavelength associated with a second-harmonic oscillation.

    • A method is provided for bonding spacers (22) to an anode (12) and/or cathode (24) of a flat panel display. The method comprises forming a black matrix layer (26) between a ductile metal layer (28) and a first display plate (12), the black matrix layer (26) and the ductile metal layer (28) defining a plurality of regions (20) surrounding a plurality of pixels (16). A cathodoluminescent material (18) is formed within each of the pixels (16) and an aluminum layer (32) may be formed on the silver layer (28) and the cathodoluminescent layer (18). A first end (52) of each of a plurality of spacers is attached to one each of the regions (20), wherein a thermocompression bonding positions the spacer (22) contiguous to the ductile metal layer (28). The second display plate (24), e.g., cathode, is attached to a second end of each of the plurality of spacers (22).

    • A voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) (10) comprising a first supply node (VCC), a second supply node (VEE), an oscillation transistor (T1), a biasing network (LE2, T2, R1), an output node (T1C) and a feedback network (FE) is described. The VCO is be powered by a supply voltage applied across the first and second supply nodes (VCC, VEE). The oscillation transistor (T1) and the biasing network (BI) are connected in series between the first supply node (VCC) and the second supply node (VEE). The output node (T1C) is connected to the oscillation transistor (T1) so as to deliver an oscillatory output signal. The feedback network (FE) provides an oscillatory feedback signal from the output node (T1C) to the biasing network (BI). The feedback network (FE) comprises a capacitive element (CF) and a transmission line (LF) connected in series for transferring the feedback signal. The VCO may be integrated in a radar device, for example.
