    • A method of manufacturing a lead frame, comprising the steps of: providing an electrically-conductive base material having first and second planar sides; forming a patterned conductive layer on the first planar side of the base material; etching the second planar side of the base material at portions with respect to exposed portions on the first planar side of the base material comprising the patterned conductive layer, to form partially-etched portions on the second planar side of the base material; providing a non-conductive filling material over the second planar side of the base material, wherein the filling material fills spaces inside the partially-etched portions on the second planar side of the base material to form adjacent portions of the filling material and a plurality of conductive portions on the second planar side of the base material; and etching the exposed portions of the first planar side of the base material comprising the patterned conductive layer to form partially-etched portions on the first planar side of the base material that combine with the partially-etched portions on the second planar side of the base material to thereby form a plurality of separate conductive regions on the first planar side of the base material, each conductive region being electrically conductive with at least a respective one of the plurality of conductive portions on the second planar side of the base material.

    • A method for configuring a route to a base station in an OMC is described. The method includes: an IP address of a base station and a mask of the base station are acquired; an IP address of a routing gateway is determined, wherein the IP address of the routing gateway and an address of an OMC server are on a same network segment; and a route from the OMC server to the base station is obtained according to the IP address and the mask of the base station and the IP address of the routing gateway. A system for configuring a route to a base station in an OMC is also described. With the method and system, a base station can communicate with an OMC server, and can download and update a version automatically.

    • The deep application crawling technique described herein crawls one or more applications, commonly referred to as “apps”, in order to extract information inside of them. This can involve crawling and extracting static data that are embedded within apps or resource files that are associated with the apps. The technique can also crawl and extract dynamic data that apps download from the Internet or display to the user on demand, in order to extract data. This extracted static and/or data can then be used by another application or an engine to perform various functions. For example, the technique can use the extracted data to provide search results in response to a user query entered into a search engine. Alternately, the extracted static and/or dynamic data can be used by an advertisement engine to select application-specific advertisements. Or the data can be used by a recommendation engine to make recommendations for goods/services.

    • The described implementations relate to automatically performing device actions. One implementation can obtain a contextual value of a contextor. The implementation can decide, using a decision engine, whether to perform an action on a computing device based on the contextual value. In an instance when the decision engine decides that the action is to be performed, the implementation can perform the action on the computing device. The implementation can also update the decision engine using feedback related to the action. As a specific example, the action can be prelaunching an application before a user has requested to execute the application. Prelaunching the application can reduce application latency relative to waiting for the user to request to execute the application before launching the application.
