摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an extra thin steel sheet for vessel, excellent in flange formability even by means of high 2 Cr ratio and capable of improving productivity at the time of annealing. SOLUTION: With respect to this steel sheet which has a composition containing, by weight, 0.005-0.040% C, at the tensile test by JIS No.5 test piece, 0.2% proof stress of which is >=430 MPa and total elongation of which is =20 MPa or the yield elongation after artificial aging at 200±C for 1 hr is regulated to >=2%. Further, as the method of manufacturing this steel sheet, cooling velocity through the temperature region from 600 to 200 deg.C in an annealing stage in particular is made to >=20 deg.C/sec or the maximum value of cooling velocity at arbitrary temperature through the temperature region from 600 to 200 deg.C is made to >=40 deg.C/sec.

CONSTITUTION: When a steel plate is electrolytically tinned, a masking agent prepared by mixing an acrylic resin such as methyl acrylate or ethyl acrylate with a methacrylic resin such as methyl methacrylate in an alcoholic solvent such as butyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol is applied to the edges of the plate where edge overcoating is caused. The plate is then put in a plating bath, electrolytically tinned, and subjected to reflow treatment. Thus, edge overcoating at the edges of the plate can be prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a tin plated steel plate which prevents the formation of wood- grained patterns, has improved brightness and has high commodity value in a tin melting treatment by a resistance heating method for the tin electroplated steel plate, by converting the frequency of resistance heating elements together with the current density. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate is passed through various electrolytic plating baths so as to electrodeposit tin on the surfaces thereof. Electric current is conducted from current conducting rolls to the tin plated steel plate in order to assure corrosion resistance, the adhesive strength between the steel plate and tin, brightness and solderability by forming tin-iron layers further on said steel plate. The steel plate is thereafter subjected to the tin melting treatment wherein the tin on the surfaces of the steel plate is melted by the Joule heat generated by the electric resistance of the steel plate and the steel plate is quickly cooled by water or hot water. The formation of wood-grained patterns is successfully prevented by selecting the frequency and current density of the resistance heating elements according to the coating weights of tin. The optimum frequency and current density corresponding to the coating weights of tin are determined beforehand empirically.
