摘要： An apparatus on a textile machine for cleaning fibre material has a first roller for conveying a fibre web, and second and third rollers which have respective nips with one another and with the first roller on rotation of the three rollers. The second roller is arranged downstream of third roller and so co-operates with the first roller that fibre is opened and detached, the fibre is transferred to the nip with the third roller and is conveyed by the third roller to the nip with the first roller, where it is transferred back to the first roller. To improve the degree of cleaning upstream of the second roller and third there is arranged at least one fixed carding element in which the teeth of the clothing are inclined opposite to the direction of rotation of the first roller.

Second roller is arranged downstream of third roller and so co-operates with first roller, that fibre is detached, the fibre is transferred to nip, with third roller and is conveyed by third roller to nip with first roller where it is transferred back to the first roller. A separating knife is arranged downstream of the second roller. In order to improve the degree of cleaning between separating knife and the nip of first roller with second roller there is a separation opening of width about from 40 to 60 mm.

摘要： An apparatus on a carding machine has a covering comprising work and cover elements lying opposite the clothing of a high-speed cylinder. There is, in succession, an air exhaust opening for the exit of air and an opening for entry of air, past which openings a flow of fibres and air is passed. To allow improved detachment and elimination of short fibres in a simple manner, the spacing of the covering upstream of the exhaust opening is smaller than the spacing of the covering between air exhaust opening and air inlet opening and an airflow flows against the direction of rotation of the cylinder along the surface of the cylinder and flows with short fibres through the air exhaust opening.
