    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contact a planetary roller and a carrier with each other in an optimal condition, and improve a lubricating condition of a contact part of the planetary roller and an input shaft by contacting/guiding the carrier with/to an outer peripheral surface of the input shaft. SOLUTION: An oil containing member 5 is arranged between an inner circumferential surface of a carrier 3 and an input shaft 1, and the carrier 3 is contacted with and guided to the input shaft 1 through the oil containing member 5. For example, the oil containing member 5 is formed by impregnating lubricating oil into a porous material formed of a sintered material, or by compressing a mixture of resin and lubricating oil by heating and cooling, and an inner peripheral surface of the carrier 3 is installed so as to contact with the input shaft 1 or the input shaft 1 and a planetary roller 2. Therefore, looseness of the carrier 3 is eliminated, and the axis of the carrier 3 always coincides with the axis of the input shaft 1, and operation can be performed in a condition where a contact surface pressure value is lowest between the planetary roller 2 and the carrier 3. Lubricating oil of the oil containing member 5 is supplied to an outer peripheral surface of the input shaft 1, and a lubricating condition of a contact part of the planetary roller 2 and the input shaft 1 is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To increase durability of a vibration-proof material by providing an interference portion, projected in the direction to narrow a clearance formed between inner and outer external cylinders, on either of the two cylinders, in an external cylinder for tri-board type constant-speed joint composed of the inner and outer external cylinders and provided with the vibration-proof material in a clearance formed between them. CONSTITUTION:An external cylinder is composed of a bottomed cup type inner external cylinder 1 and a bottomed cup type outer external cylinder 2. A vibration-proof material 4 of elastic material such as rubber, etc., is provided between a circumferential clearance 3 formed between both cylinders by combining both of them. A split ring 13 is formed by a square-section metal wire of resiliency, formed in clover-shape so that it can be fitted onto the external surface of the inner external cylinder 1, and cut off in some places 14. If excessive torque is given and both the inner and outer external cylinders 1 and 2 are relatively displaced in rotating direction, the split ring 13 will be interfered with the internal peripheral surface of the outer external cylinder 2 to restrict more displacement. Thus excessive deformation of the vibration-proof material 4 can be prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of easily starting an automobile on a grade. SOLUTION: A control-type sliding clutch 20 and a mechanical control-type bidirectional clutch 30 are assembled between an input shaft 1 to which the rotation of an engine is transmitted and an output shaft 2 fitted to an outer side of the input shaft 1, the input shaft 1 and the output shaft 2 are engaged by the sliding clutch 20 while sliding them, and the bi-directional clutch 30 is engaged after the engagement of the sliding clutch 20 to improve transmission efficiency. A one-way clutch 61 is mounted between the output shaft 2 and a fixed housing 60 mounted outside of the output shaft, so that the output shaft 2 is locked by the operation of the one-way clutch 61 to prevent the movement of the automobile in the direction opposite to the advancing direction, when a brake pedal is released, and the rotation in the direction opposite to the rotating direction of the engine is transmitted to the output shaft 2 from a wheel side when the automobile is stopped on an upgrade, whereby the automobile can be easily started on the grade.
