    • PURPOSE:To obtain a strongly and closely bonded film by a method wherein a polyimide resin layer is formed to the surface of a base material and fluoroplastic is applied to said resin layer to be baked to simultaneously perform the enhancement of the imidating rate of the polyimide resin layer and the curing of the fluoroplastic layer. CONSTITUTION:A polyimide acid solution is applied to the surface of a base material such as a metal, glass or ceramic to form a polyimide resin layer containing a non-imidated part. Fluoroplastic (e.g. a tetrafluoroethylene homopolymer) is applied on said resin layer to form a top coat layer. Subsequently, the coated base material is baked to perform the enhancement of the imidating rate of the aforementioned polyimide resin layer and the curing of the fluoroplastic of the top coat layer. As mentioned above, since the surface of the base material is coated with the fluoroplastic resin film by interposing the polyimide resin layer between the base material and the fluoroplastic and adjusting the imidating rate, the obtained film is strongly and closely bonded and becomes uniform.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer belt which is used for an intermediate transfer type image forming device, has a small variation of resistance and small environmental fluctuation in resistance, and does not require measurement and control of humidity on the side of the image forming device.
      SOLUTION: The seamless belt is manufactured by compounding a dehydration reagent and a dopant to a mixture of polyamide acid solution and dedoped polyaniline solution. Therein, the inplane variation and the effect to the environmental fluctuation of the surface resistivity is suppressed within a specified range. Further, preferably, a polymer containing the polyaniline of a proper amount is formed, the dehydration reagent is a mixture of a dehydration agent and a catalyst, and the dopant is a reaction product of the dehydaration reagent or a specified inorganic acid or organic acid.
