Accordingly, a management operation at abnormality is performed, for notifying a prescribed contact address of the generation of the abnormality and for stopping apparatuses, such as elevator. Thus, the visual inspection work of the wire rope 3 with covering is dispensed with, and the occurrence of the abnormality of the wire rope 3 with covering can be easily detected, thereby reducing the management cost of maintenance.
