An electronic control unit (ECU) performing various types of control of the engine diagnoses a clogging abnormality of the PCV passage based on pulsation width of the intake air flow rate sensed with the air flow meter. A thermal type sensor having a heating section and a temperature sensing section provided on a semiconductor substrate is used as the air flow meter.

摘要： A television receiver includes: a video decoder that converts a composite signal into a digital signal; a video encoder that converts a reproduced data or the digital signal to output a Y/C signal; a monitor; a detecting unit that detects the reception of broadcast signal; and a controller. When the detecting unit detects that the receiving state is good, the controller controls the video encoder to convert the digital signal so that broadcast pictures are displayed on the monitor by using the Y/C signal. When the detecting unit detects that the receiving state is not good, the broadcast pictures are displayed on the monitor by using the composite signal. When the recording medium is reproduced, the controller controls the video encoder to convert the reproduced data so that reproduced pictures are displayed on the monitor by using the Y/C signal or the component signal.

摘要： It is an object of the invention to provide a optimized rational water treatment technique for chemically treating water to be treated. A representative water treatment apparatus is adapted for chemically treating water by using chemicals. In a water treatment apparatus, a disinfectant within a chemical cartridge dissolves out in water to be treated in a disinfecting chamber so that the water is disinfected. Further, a magnet is disposed within the chemical cartridge. The accommodated position of the magnet within the chemical cartridge is changed according to the remaining amount of the disinfectants. The magnetism of such magnet is detected by a magnetic sensor disposed on the outside of the chemical cartridge, so that information on consumption of the disinfectant can be detected.

摘要： A toner composition including toner particles including a binder resin including a modified polyester resin, and a second resin having a weight average molecular weight of from 2,000 to 10,000; a colorant; a release agent; and a particulate material which is present at least a surface portion of the toner particles while embedded into the surface portion, wherein the binder resin has a glass transition temperature not lower than 35° C. and lower than 55° C., and wherein the particulate material has an average particle diameter of from 0.002 to 0.2 times that of the toner particles. A developer including the toner composition and a carrier having a layer thereon which includes at least an acrylic resin and a silicone resin, and a method for fixing an image of the toner composition are also provided.
