    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably deploy an airbag body 41 to the outside of a seat back 3 as early as possible, while attaining holding of the shape of a side surface of the seat back 3, when an airbag unit 40 is incorporated in a side part at the vehicle width direction outside in the seat back 3 of a seat for a vehicle.
      SOLUTION: The airbag unit 40 is disposed between a cover member 51 extending in a longitudinal direction along an inside surface of side surface side skin 31b at the vehicle width direction outside and mounted in a first fixing member (a right side frame 13) and a low elongation member 55 with flexibility having a lower elongation ratio than that of front surface side skin 31a. The cover member 51 can be deformed so that a front side end of the cover member 51 may press a sewing part 32 side end part of the side surface side skin 31b or the vicinity to the outside of the seat by deployment pressure of the airbag body 41. One end part of the low elongation member 55 is mounted at the sewing part 32 side end part of the front surface side skin 31a or the vicinity, while the other end part is mounted in a second fixing member (the right side frame 13).

      SOLUTION: A vehicle interior state recognition device includes an illuminating means 15 for illuminating infrared rays into a vehicle compartment including seats 2-6 equipped with height-adjustable headrests 51-56, an imaging means 16 for imaging an image inside the vehicle compartment into which the infrared rays are illuminated by the illuminating means 15, and a recognizing means 18 for recognizing specific information based on the image imaged by the imaging means 16. Objects of the image imaged by the imaging means 16 include upper portions of the seats 2-6 including the headrests 51-56 and passengers (A-D) seated in the seats 2-6, and the recognizing means 18 determines the heights of the headrests 51-56 relative to the passengers seated on the seats based on the images of the headrests 51-56 imaged by the imaging means 16.

    • PURPOSE:To move the seatbelt simultaneously with sliding by securing an anchor bracket to be coupled with the seatbelt to the upper rail. CONSTITUTION:The upper rail 6 secured to the underface of seat cushion is provided slidably against the lower rail 4. The rotation of drive shaft 9a of motor 9 is converted through power transmission mechanism 10 into linear motion and transmitted to the upper rail 6.
