    • The cooling system includes: a frame; a plurality of electronic devices disposed in the frame and operating or functioning independently from each other; fans disposed in the frame and supplying cooling air to the electronic devices; a temperature acquiring portion for acquiring the temperature of the cooling air; an air-flow resistance adjusting portion for adjusting the air-flow resistance to the cooling air; and a controller for controlling the fans and the each air-flow resistance adjusting portion. The controller determines each target cooling air volume required for cooling each electronic device to a predetermined temperature based on temperature information acquired by the temperature acquiring portion and heat generation information on each electronic device, controls each air-flow resistance adjusting portion to set the volume of cooling air to each target cooling air volume, and performs the drive control of the fans to set the volume of cooling air to the minimum necessary.

    • A user-friendly camera with a visual line detection system simplifies the operation by making manual selection possible for establishing an auto focus region directly without going through time consuming procedures, even when the camera is selecting an auto focus region based on visual line information. An auto selection mode, a visual line selection mode, and a manual selection mode are available for establishing an auto focus region with mode selection being made by an auto focus region switching system. When selection of the auto focus region is being executed in the visual line selection mode, signals from the auto focus region manual selection system may be entered so that the manual selection input takes priority and the intention of the photographer becomes the priority. The change of mode is temporarily executed easily during the visual line selection mode operation.

    • A camera with a visual line position detection device capable of highly accurate determinations even when diopter adjustment is accomplished after initial completion of correction of the visual line position determining system. The camera includes a screen to form a subject image, a pentagonal prism provided inside the finder, a visual line position detection device equipped with a light emitting unit and a light receiving unit to detect the visual line position, and a diopter adjustment lens placed on the photographer's side of the pentagonal prism. The diopter adjustment lens is displaced after the correction of the visual line position detection device, and a correction coefficient needed to compute the visual line position on the screen obtained during the correction of the visual line position detection device is changed according to the displacement amount of the diopter adjustment lens.
