摘要： The present invention relates to an information processing apparatus adapted to execute a sequence of processing operations for recording video data recorded to a first recording medium in a first format to a second recording medium in a second format, without user's manual intervention. Any one of three settings is provided in accordance with total time Tx of data to be written to a DVD: a first setting in which a maximum value of image bit rate (first value B1) and a maximum value of audio bit rate (second value B2) are used; a second setting in which a first value of image bit rate and a third value B3 of audio bit rate are used; and a third setting in which a fourth value of image bit rate determined on the basis of line 152 and the third value B3 of audio bit rate are used. The present invention is applicable to information processing apparatuses for recording the data recorded to a digital cassette video tape to a DVD.

摘要： A laminate comprising an ion conductive material having excellent ion conductivity at room temperature or at lower temperatures, a small water content, sufficiently high mechanical strength and storage stability to allow for handling the ion conductive material in practice, and a form which is easily integrated into an electrochemical element or electrochemical devices. Also disclosed is a production method thereof, and a method of producing a battery, a capacitor or an electrochemical element or apparatus using the laminate. The laminate comprises an intermediate layer of an ion conductive material having on the upper and lower portions thereof outer layers having an ion conductivity lower than that of the intermediate layer. Furthermore, at least one of the outer layers is a layer comprising a non electron-conductive material.

摘要： An emulsion of a quarterly vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsified in an aqueous medium, is provided. The quarterly copolymer comprises: 100 parts, by weight, of a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer prepared from 95 to 60 parts, by weight, of vinyl acetate monomer (I) and 5 to 40 parts, by weight, of ethylene monomer (II); 0.5 to 7 parts, by weight, of an acid monomer (III) selected from the group consisting of monobasic unsaturated carboxylic acids each having 3 to 17 carbon atoms, dibasic unsaturated carboxylic acids each having 3 to 17 carbon atoms, anhydrides of said dibasic unsaturated carboxylic acids and semi-esters of said dibasic unsaturated carboxylic acids each having an alkyl chain of the alcohol part having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and mixture thereof; and 0.5 to 15 parts, by weight, of an acrylamide compound (IV) represented by the general formula of: CH.sub.2 .dbd.CHCONHCH.sub.2 OR; wherein R is an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms. An aqueous emulsion adhesive is also provided which comprises the quarterly copolymer.
