摘要： The instant invention provides an aqueous dispersion, a coating composition, coating layers and coated article made therefrom. The coating composition according to the present invention comprises: (1) the inventive aqueous dispersion comprising the melt blending product of: (a) from 50 to 99 percent by weight of one or more polyethylene terephthalate resins, based on the total solid content of the dispersion; (b) from 1 to 50 percent by weight of one or more stabilizing agents comprising at least one second polyester, based on the total solid content of the dispersion, wherein said second polyester (i) has a carboxylic acid group and an acid number equal to or greater than 15, based on the solid content of the second polyester; or (ii) is a self-dispersing sulfopolyester; (c) one or more neutralizing agents; and (d) from 15 to 90 percent by weight of water, based on the total weight of the dispersion; wherein said dispersion has a solid content of 10 to 85 percent, based on the total weight of the dispersion; and (2) optionally one or more cross-linking agents.

摘要： The instant invention is an adhesion promoter system, and method of producing the same. The adhesion promoter system comprises the admixing product of: (a) at least 60 percent by weight of a base polymer, based on the total weight of the solid content, wherein said base polymer comprises a propylene/ethylene copolymer composition, wherein said propylene/ethylene copolymer has a crystallinity in the range of from 1 percent by weight to 30 percent by weight, a heat of fusion in the range of from 2 Joules/gram to 50 Joules/gram), and a DSC melting point in the range of 25° C. to 110° C.; (b) less than 40 percent by weight of a functionalized polymer composition, based on the total weight of the solid content, wherein said functionalized polymer composition comprises homopolymers of propylene or copolymers of propylene with hexene, octene and/or other like alpha-olefins, the homopolymers or copolymers having a single unsaturation, a terminal succinic anhydride moiety, and additional succinic anhydride substitutions on the polypropylene backbone, where the succinic anhydride substitution ranges from about 5 to about 45 weight percent of functionalized polymer composition; (c) in the presence of one or more solvents at a temperature in the range of from 25° C. to 120° C.

Preferably, the ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer has a Mw/Mn from about 1.7 to about 3.5, at least one melting point, Tm, in degrees Celsius, and a density, d, in grams/cubic centimeter, wherein the numerical values of Tm and d correspond to the relationship: Tm≧858.91−1825.3(d)+1112.8(d)2. The composition has relatively higher SAFT temperature and can be used in hot melt adhesives pressure-sensitive adhesives, and thermoplastic marking paints.

摘要： A filled polymer composition comprises (i) an ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer, and (ii) a filler. The ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer is a block copolymer having at least a hard block and at least a soft block. The soft block comprises a higher amount of comonomers than the hard block. The block interpolymer has a number of unique characteristics disclosed here. The filled polymer compositions provided herein, in certain embodiments, have relatively higher heat resistance and improved noise, vibration and harshness properties and can be used in automotive floorings, roofings, wire and cable coating applications.
