    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condensate treatment method and a condensate treatment apparatus by which organic acids can be sufficiently removed without using a desalting tower of a mixed bed system.SOLUTION: In the condensate treatment method where at least a part of boiler condensate is treated by an ion exchange resin and then is supplied to the boiler, the ion exchange resin is consisting of an anion exchange resin. Since the organic acids in the boiler condensate is removed by the anion exchange resin, the organic acids can be removed without installation of the desalting tower of the mixed bed system. Further when amine or the like is added to boiler water as a pH adjuster or the like, removal of even amine or the like is prevented at the time of removal treatment of the organic acids by the anion exchange resin.
