摘要： An inclination of an inclined surface formed by working a ridge of a resonator is set to be within a predetermined angular range, whereby a leakage of vibration in the out-of-plane direction is reduced, the leakage of vibration being generated according to the detuning degree adjustment. In addition, a single laser beam is irradiated onto the ridge at an incident angle within a predetermined angular range, whereby a simple working on the inclined surface is established for the leakage vibration adjustment. A degree of the leakage vibration of the resonator is determined based on a relationship with the drift amount that is a ratio of the angular velocity change, and the inclination of the inclined surface is set to be within a predetermined angular range, thereby suppressing the drift amount.

Thus, in this printer, even when a component of the mechanical module has been replaced with a new one, the control circuit board can control the mechanical module smoothly based on the control information after replacement because the control information of the mechanical module is stored on in the EEPROM.

摘要： An image reading device includes a cold-cathode lamp as a light source for image reading. The cold-cathode lamp is lit even when the image reading is not performed. A temperature detecting device detects a wall temperature of the cold-cathode lamp or a temperature that has correlation to the lamp wall temperature, and a lighting-out control device turns off the cold-cathode lamp when image reading is not being performed and when a temperature detected by the temperature detecting device is equal to or below a first predetermined temperature. In the image reading device, the image reading operation starts immediately after a user's designation under normal office conditions. As a result, the operating life of the lamp can be prolonged as much as possible.
