    • A lid operating mechanism for opening and closing a lid body from left and right sides of a box body includes left and right side hinge pins provided along left and right side edges of the lid body for movement between a projecting position and a retract position; left and right side operation buttons provided within the lid body for sliding; and left and right side cable means for directly connecting the left and right side hinge pins and the left and right side operating buttons, respectively, and having a first section extending in the widthwise direction and a second section extending in a lengthwise direction of the lid body so that when the left or right side operating button is depressed into the opening position, the left or right side cable means pulls the left or right side hinge pins into the retracted position to thereby allow opening of the lid body about the right or left side hinge pins.

    • A membrane containing an immobilized enzyme for a semiconductor sensor is prepared containing a water soluble photosensitive resin including a high molecular weight polyvinyl pyrrolidone crosslinked to 2, 5-bis (4'-azide-2'-sulfobenzal) cyclopentanone sodium salt, and an enzyme. Glutaraldehyde and bovine serum albumin, polyamino acid or polyamino amino acid copolymer may also be present to provide chemical crosslinking. The enzyme may be glucose oxidase, urease or lipase. The membrane can be directly formed on ion-sensitive protions of a pH-ion sensitive field effect transistor to form a semiconductor sensor by coating an aqueous solution of the resin and enzyme on the ion-sensitive portion, drying and irradiating with light such as ultraviolet light to provide photo crosslinking.

    • In order to provide a toy that increases the commercial value of the toy, imparts fresh wonderment and intellectual excitement to the user, and employs a simple structure with a suppressed number of parts, thus making it possible to reduce manufacturing costs and the number of manufacturing processes, the toy (1) comprises: an external component (2), provided with a hole (10) on the lower portion thereof, that maintains a substantially spherical shape and is provided with a housing space formed on the interior thereof; a lower component (3) disposed such that it can move between the inside and the outside of the housing space through the hole (10), and is disposed such that, when inside the housing space, the lower surface thereof aligns with the surface of the external component (2) and the toy (1) forms a substantially spherical shape; a locking means; a magnetic body disposed inside the lower component (3); and an elastic component. When no magnetic force acts between an external magnetic component and the magnetic body, the elastic force of the elastic component is resisted and the lower component (3) is retained inside the housing space by means of the locking means, by means of which the substantially spherical shape is maintained. When a magnetic force has acted between an external magnetic components and the magnetic body, the locking means is released and the lower component (3) rushes out from the hole (10).
