    • PURPOSE:To obtain plating material which is excellent in mold release properties and also has wear resistance and is utilized for mold material by modifying one part of an organic polymer having a hydrophilic functional group by a hydrophobic functional group and dispersing or codepositing the modified organic polymer into Ni-P alloy plating layer. CONSTITUTION:After Fe-based material utilized as mold material is degreased, a plating layer which contains 0.1-30wt.% P and consists of the balance Ni and inevitable impurities is formed by an electroplating. In this ease, an organic polymer having an acrylic acid-based hydrophilic functional group is incorporated in the plating liquid at >=0.05% expressed in terms of C. Moreover the a polymer of at least 10mol% is modified by a hydrophobic functional group by a proper means. A plating metal component and the polymer are made copresent. Metal and the organic polymer are codeposited on the plating layer by an electrodeposition and codeposition method by utilizing this bath. Thereby the plating material is obtained which is excellent in mold release properties and has wear resistance and is utilized for mold material. This material is preferably utilized as a die for extrusion and a nozzle for injection molding.

    • PURPOSE:To apply galvanizing having excellent workability and adhesion of coated films on a steel sheet by forming the plating layers of >=2 layers of laminated galvanizing layers contg. org. polymers and controlling the contents of the org. polymers in the respective plating layers at the time of applying the galvanizing having excellent corrosion resistance on the steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:A Zn or Zn alloy plating liquid contg. at least 0.5 to 2.0mol/l Zn ion and 0.001 to 10wt.% hydrophilic org. polymer, such as acrylamide polymer, is used as the plating liquid and the steel sheet is successively passed through plural plating liquid cells contg. this plating liquid and is electroplated while the current density is gradually increased in a 0.1 to 500A/dm range from the upstream side to the downstream side of the plating cell group at the time of applying the galvanizing having the excellent corrosion resistance on the surface of the steel sheet. The plural galvanizing layers in which the contents of the org. polymers increase gradually from the side in contact with the steel sheet toward the upper part are formed. The galvanized steel sheet which has the excellent workability at the time of press forming and has the excellent adhesion of the coated films even if the steel sheet is not subjected to a pretreatment prior to painting is thus produced.
