摘要： A raceway cable retention and accommodation apparatus which has a support surface and a bracket. The bracket comprises a mounting portion, a first leg connected to the mounting portion, a second leg connected to the first leg, and a third leg connected to the second leg. The mounting portion and the first, second, and third legs are configured so as to define a J-shaped structure. The bracket is attached to the support surface by a mounting device. A panel for a panel system which has five surfaces. The panel has a first surface, a second surface connected to the first surface, and a third surface connected to the second surface. Furthermore, the panel has a fourth surface connected to the third surface and a fifth surface connected to the fourth surface. The panel is configured such that the first and second surfaces are mirror images of the fourth and fifth surfaces with respect to a plane which is perpendicular to the third surface. In addition, the first surface defines an acute angle with respect to the plane. An improved panel system having a support surface, a C-shaped bracket mounted to the support surface and a cover attached to the C-shaped bracket.

摘要： A utility cart with front, back, side, top and bottom walls includes a housing having a pair of U-shaped frames spanning the front and back portions of the cart. Each of the U-shaped frames has a pair of upright legs joined by a bottom bight portion. At least two side wall segments form opposite sides of the cart. Each of the side wall segments has at side edges thereof frame-receiving openings shaped to receive legs of the U-shaped frame member. The side wall segments are spaced apart by the U-shaped frames with the legs of the U-shaped frames retained by the frame-receiving openings. The upper portions of the upright legs of each of the U-shaped frame members are joined together and drawers are slidably mounted to the side wall segments. Integrally molded glides are formed on the inner faces of the side wall segments. The drawers have glide flanges mounted on the sides cooperable with the molded glides slidably mounting the drawers on the glides. Stops are formed on the drawer glides and drawers to retain the drawers in a closed position within the cart and to prevent the drawers from being inadvertently pulled from the cart. Castors are mounted to the bottom of the U-shaped frames at bottom portions thereof to support the cart on wheels. The cart can have a central vertical spine and double-faced walls mounted to the vertical spine to form a vertical partition in the cart for mounting two rows of drawers in side-by-side relationship.

摘要： A furniture unit comprises a closed-front credenza that folds out to form an L-shaped desk. The unit comprises a stationary desk having a partially open front, with a kneehole opening forming at least a portion of the open front. A moveable return pivotally mounted at on one side of the desk comprises a vertical face panel and a work surface mounted at a rear side of the face panel. The return is pivotal between a closed position, wherein the face panel covers the open portion of the front of the desk and the return work surface is concealed behind the face panel, and an open position, wherein the face panel is pivoted outwardly from the front of the desk, exposing the kneehole opening in the desk. The return work surface extends forwardly from the desk alongside the kneehole opening when the return is opened. The face panel is configured so as to create the impression that the furniture unit is a credenza with no kneehole opening when the return is closed. A column of functional drawers is mounted in the desk at the side opposite from the moveable return, with the face panel extending across the front of the desk to the drawers when the return is closed. The unit has a legless support mechanism for an inner corner of the return work surface that eliminates the need of a movement obstructing support leg at the corner. The unit also has lockable and vertically adjustable casters. A keyboard tray and inner storage unit are spaced below the desk top so that the return work surface fits under the desk top when the return is closed. The base molding is formed to conceal the fact that the return opens.

摘要： A concealed desk comprises a desktop or worksurface, with supporting side panels and a kneehole opening and storage compartments under the desktop. The front of the desk is enclosable by folding doors mounted on front side edges of the desk side panels. When the doors are opened, the doors preferably fold against the side panels of the desk and do not obstruct either the appearance or the use of the desk. The door facades are those of conventional doors and conceal the presence of a kneehole opening or storage compartments in the desk opening inside the doors. The desktop surface of the desk is concealed by an upper storage unit that is mounted on the desktop or that comprises an extension of the desk, above the desktop or worksurface. Doors may also enclose the top portion of the desk unit in the same manner as the doors on the lower portion, giving the furniture the appearance of a cabinet or a secretary. Full length doors may enclose both the upper and lower portions of the desk to give the furniture the appearance of an armoire.
