    • The invention concerns a drive device for a windscreen wiper with a park position switch. The park position switch comprises a pivotable contact bridge (20) which is rotatably mounted on a pivot (25) in the base of the drive device (1). The contact bar on the contact bridge (20) is made from electrically conductive sheet metal, the contact bars (21, 22) being produced by bending. The contact bridge (20) is operated via cams (30, 31) on the worm wheel (3). These cams cooperate with switching bars (27, 28) on the contact bridge (20) which are likewise produced by bending. The advantages of this arrangement are that the contact bridge is easy to assemble and the paths covered by the contacts during the useful life of a drive device are reduced with respect to conventional switches, such that it is possible to dispense with additional contact rivets. Preferably, the switch is mounted in the base of the drive device such that the contact paths to be contacted can likewise extend in the housing base.
